South Park: The Fractured But Whole is not as fresh as The Stick of Truth, but for fans of South Park it's a must-buy. The story is interesting enough to make you eager of what's coming up next, and the battle system has improved.

Despite some shortcomings, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is an excellent RPG with a fascinating comic storyline, funny characters, interesting abilities and a system for creating artifacts and clothes. The creative approach of developers to game situations and great humor make this project one of the best in 2017.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is an amazing game also on Nintendo Switch, despite the long loading times, and some problems in the docked mode (a bit of aliasing and fonts a little bit too small for comfort). A wonderful experience for all the South Park fans, but only if you don't have the chance to play it elsewhere.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole for Nintendo Switch allows you to finally play while sitting in the toilet. Sadly, the re-release does not contain additional content and suffers from a number of technical problems that Ubisoft promises to patch in the future.

The Fractured But Whole is a solidly good RPG game that incorporates the South Park attitude with a lot less “in-your-face” crudeness than The Stick of Truth. It has a better fighting setup, an easier-to- digest storyline, and is still laugh out loud funny at times. What else do you need from a South Park game?

The new combat mechanics add tons of depth and strategy to the experience, and new exploration abilities really give Fractured But Whole an overall deeper RPG feel. The game is also absolutely hysterical; if you love the humor of South Park in general, then Fractured But Whole is a must have.

Despite some noticeable issues, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a must-play for fans of South Park. There's no experience like playing through a massive episode of South Park where the hero of the story is you. The superhero angle really lands, and is an excellent wrapping for the story this time around.

All in all, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a fantastic game. While there are some minor flaws, I couldn't put my controller down. Aside from being one of my personal favorite games of this year, it also holds a special place in my heart as one of the best Ubisoft games I have ever played. If you are a fan of the TV series, as well as The Stick of Truth, I highly recommend purchasing this game; it is well worth your time, and it is worth every penny of its purchase price.

For fans, there are plenty of surprises to uncover and tons of references to even the most obscure episodes of the show. Thanks to a strong level of personalization coupled with South Park's distinct atmosphere, The Fractured But Whole makes wandering around the faithfully recreated and detailed map of the town a constant delight.

Despite these couple of technical misgivings, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is another interactive journey into the minds of Matt Stone and Trey Parker. I quite literally felt like I was playing the show for the 15 hours that I spent in South Park–not surprising, given that the first game met that uncanny caliber of delivering a near perfect recreation. If easily offended, chances are you've already written off South Park, and chances are even higher that you aren't reading this review. Surrounding the fart jokes and fourth graders who love to say fuck a lot, there is a brutally intelligent comedic commentary on many aspects of modern society. It's something that South Park has always been great at, and something that translates incredibly well to interactivity. Where the first game made a believer out of me, The Fractured But Whole had me farting falling in love with South Park all over again.

Even if it isn't as chocking as The Stick of Truth was, South Park: The Fractured But Whole offers a delightful experience for South Park fans. Faithful to the source material, this sequel is both funny, well written and fun to play as the super hero setting fits the gameplay well. Fans of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's work should really give this game a shot.
