World of Warcraft: Legion Reviews
This is the expansion World of Warcraft players have been waiting for, even if your faith has been shaken by somewhat mediocre expansion packs over World of Warcraft’s 12-year history.
Legion is the best work ever done on WoW, and I say that as someone who remembers the original development process from alpha to the launch of the original “vanilla” box. I’m not known for giving high review scores. Legion earns one.
World of Warcraft: Legion addresses long-standing player concerns in smart ways
Legion strikes a very good balance between nurturing feelings of the past, while also slaying old beasts and leaving the old world behind. It’s the biggest shake up since Cataclysm, and boy was it needed. This is everything that fans should want, granting a whole lot more stuff for them to see, do, and tinker with, while new players can launch a fresh character in at the top level and find themselves equal to all those around them.
After its recent underwhelming expansion, Blizzard finally manages to get back on the right track with “World of Warcraft: Legion.” If you have never played WoW before or if you feel that you have been burned in the past, I suggest giving the game another shot as the game adds many new mechanics and features that make it feel fresh and compelling. Add a big content patch that’s incoming plus Blizzard being more in tune with what the game’s fan base wants and you have an expansion that’s as close to perfect as WoW has been in a long time.
World of Warcraft: Legion is easily the best product Blizzard Entertainment has released since the initial launch of World of Warcraft, and is an excellent expansion that every World of Warcraft player should at least try.
Legion is definitely one of the best (if not the best ever) expansions in recent years! World of Warcraft has finally received a breath of fresh air compared to the last disappointing expansion. We just have to hope that Blizzard keeps the Legion experience alive in the future and does not let it die like the last two, given that its goal - that is to make fans return to play - has been fully achieved.

If Blizzard can truly stick to their plan now of releasing more content for each expansion, while releasing newer expansions at a slower pace, we could be returning to a golden age for Warcraft once again. The current subscription numbers since launch could also be a reflection of that, based on what Blizzard has come out and said. If you’ve ever played World of Warcraft, if you currently still do, or even if you never have. Legion is the perfect point to jump in, and start shaping your story and your legacy in Azeroth.
World of Warcraft: Legion brought back a lot of the glory and splendor that I experienced when I first started the game. A plethora of features like World Quests and Artifact Weapons bring another layer of content to the endgame of Legion. Halting certain progression with research times is something I may have nerfed down a bit but other than that, Legion is near perfect to me as far as expansions go.
After months of missteps, Legion shows World of Warcraft finding its footing again and asserting its relevance after more than a decade. Many elements make this an expansion worth enjoying, including class halls, gigantic zones filled with memorable stories, better socialization, the actiony new Demon Hunter class, and world quests. The one big question mark is whether Blizzard can maintain that energy after launch, but so far the outlook seems promising.
If Blizzard can continue to deliver, Legion sets the stage for what could be the best chapter of World of Warcraft yet.
World of Warcraft: Legion adds ten levels, a new zone, and a new hero class to the twelve year old MMO and manages to deliver some of the best content that the game has ever offered.
World of Warcraft: Legion proves that Blizzard still has enough tricks up its sleeve to keep WoW relevant more than a decade after its initial release.
World of Warcraft: Legion does the greatest job so far of really connecting players to its world. Unlike the past several expansions I really want to be a part of this universe and see this story through until its end. This is the best WoW has been since Wrath -- believe it.
World of Warcraft: Legion has learned and acted upon mistakes made by previous expansions to deliver an experience that offers nostalgia alongside compelling new gameplay experiences.
After two lazy years, Blizzard brings to World of Warcraft a lot of exciting new contents with one of the best expansions for the game.

Legion injects excitement into a game that for the past year has survived on being better than most.
'World of Warcraft: Legion' isn’t just a great MMO. It’s a great game.
With the new World of Warcraft-expansion, Blizzard manages to bring new life to a widely beloved mmorpg that's been on the decline for ages. The Demon Hunter Class, new, intriguing zones and questlines and extended character development possibilities combine to form the greatest WoW-experience to date.

World of Warcraft: Legion brings a new transformation to WoW, making it into something smaller, sleeker; a creature far more befitting the modern gamer.
