Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Reviews
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a remarkable accomplishment and a truly triumphant return of a storied franchise. Masterfully executed on all fronts, this game will leave a lasting impression on you long after you’re done.
Resident Evil 7 backpedals on series conventions while advancing in ways that make it feel fresh, yet familiar. It's a stunning piece of game design and survival horror that should not be missed.
So if you're a scaredy cat like me or you just want to prove how fearless you are, I totally recommend that you play this game. I can say that it will definitely change the way you perceive horror games. May it be that you probably don't want to play it again or that you would want to relive the encounter over and over to make yourself numb to the scare. I love to be scared and I love the satisfying relief that it brings when you overcome it, and I can't wait for the next installment of this game or the next DLC they provide because this game is absolutely satisfying. Now let me go hide in the corner so that the Baker family doesn't catch me.
Resident Evil 7 doesn’t have much in common with the rest of the franchise, but when the game is this good, it’s hard to complain. Definitely worthwhile for any survival horror fans.
Go tell Aunt Rhody she needs to play Resident Evil 7, as it's an absolutely stunning rebirth and return to form for survival horror. This soft reboot has reinvigorated the franchise and brought AAA survival horror back. The future of Resident Evil looks very promising too, since Capcom established that the Bakers have taken plenty of visitors over the years and have filmed them all. These experiences are already set up to be the part of some upcoming DLC and for future instalments this leaves plenty of story threads hanging and questions left to be answered.
We had to wait 12 years for Capcom to finally understand what Resident Evil should be. The series has finally returned to its roots and is doing it in amazing style, scaring the players like never before. This game need to be played by every fan of horror games.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard clearly stands as a solid addition to an important series in gaming history.
Don't let the change in perspective or the different aesthetics fool you; this is definitely a Resident Evil game, and, even more importantly, one that returns to the core of its roots in the best way possible. Perfect? No. Will players miss the more comic book-like vibe of the original? Sure. However, while Resident Evil 7: Biohazard isn't everyone's cup of stagnant swamp water, it's a cup that everyone should get a taste of, at least once.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a terrifying survival horror experience. It offers the best spooky atmosphere in the franchise with many of the classic mechanics that build the original formula. Yet it has enough new elements to stand his ground amidst similar games. Without doubt, a must play horror experience.

Capcom finally returned beloved franchise to survival horror roots. Resident Evil 7 is definitely not the best game in the genre (or the series), but it's a solid step away from action-packed Hollywood-style entries to more grotesque, bloody and scary experience.

Resident Evil 7 is exactly what the series needed, a return to it's roots but with an added twist, a first person perspective. This is without a doubt one of the best Resident Evil games in years, a great terror game and the best experience in Playstation VR.

It's fitting that this game follows the series’ 20th anniversary, because it’s basically Capcom’s love letter to their series, and to horror in general. If you’re a fan of Resident Evil or horror movies, you’ll enjoy the game. If you’re a fan of both, as I am, you’ll love it.
It’s a bit of a cliche but there’s no doubt that Resident Evil 7 is a return to form for both Capcom and Resident Evil itself. It’s horrible, grotesque, and panic-inducing, but I love it.
A marvel when it comes to its ability to shake you to your core, its clearly a love letter to both those who adored the claustrophobic nightmares of the original games and those introduced to horror with more recent Hollywood attempts like The Conjuring and Insidious. It’s hard to imagine the formula working in their favor in the long run, but if it’s a reason to trust that the series could still be in the right hands with Capcom after all, we’re interested to see how they’ll carry on torch into the future.
Instead of the b-movie cheesiness we’ve come to know and love from previous games (sorry fans — no boulder-punching this time around), Resident Evil VII reaches levels of dread and fear we haven’t seen since the days of the original, and that (mostly) works to the game’s advantage when it comes to reinvigorating the franchise. Though it appears like a complete reinvention from the outside looking in, Resident Evil VII is very much made from the same DNA that made the original games the revered horror classics that they are today. Like the game’s intro that has players sitting down for supper with the Bakers, Resident Evil VII has welcomed players back not just to the series’ horror roots, but to a grim, disgusting feast that you just can’t turn away from.
A true return to form for the long running series, Resident Evil 7 reinvents itself while still retaining that classic RE feel. Delivering a real horror experience, the game can definitely scare, but it also just works as a fun and engaging survival experience.
Resident Evil 7 sets new standards for the horror genre. It is one of the most brutal, most terrifying games ever and has a carefully thought out story with epic boss fights. If you want an unforgettable gaming experience this is it!
Capcom had to change and innovate with this new Resident Evil title. Fortunately achieved an amazing and horrifying experience that makes every Resident fan feel proud and happy that series returns to its origins with a immersive view from first person.
