Cladun Returns: This Is Sengoku! Reviews
There is more to this game, a lot more, but I just don't care. Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! can be played for hundreds of hours, but these are hours I want to spend with something I actually like. There are a lot of facets here, including quests I can take, a bizarre Fortify feature, an art studio where I can customize characters and gear, and time challenges for each of the dungeons that make up the story mode. Again, all of that I should enjoy, and yet it just does nothing for me. If you can get into this game — and I recommend you play the demo before you buy — you'll probably have a lot more fun than I did. Which is to say you'll have any amount of fun at all.
Cladun Returns: This Is Sengoku!'s bite-sized stages are best suited to quick stints of dungeon delving. Stay much longer, and you might stumble across the frustrations that lie in its depths. Bouts of trial and error gameplay drag down an otherwise addictive release, and convoluted upgrade systems keep you from getting straight into the action. Still, the process of powering up your pixelated protagonist is a rewarding one once you find your groove.
ClaDun Returns: This is Sengoku! should be thoroughly appreciated by fans of random adventures and Sengoku history buffs alike.
Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! is the third chapter of a series which was born on PSP seven years ago. This new episode follows in the footsteps of the prequel and also introduces new interesting gameplay features.

Despite wasting a wonderful setting and story setup, Cladun Returns still manages to be a triumphant comeback for Nippon Ichi Software. The game's fast-paced brand of dungeon crawling separates it from its competition, and the game is only beginning once the story wraps up. There's enough content here to keep players entertained for months if the game grabs players, although those looking for more structure will end up disappointed.
Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! is for gamers who want a quick and satisfying dungeon-crawling experience. The game is fast enough to pick up for ten minutes and complete a few missions, but also has some deep systems that can take hours of your time and push the game to its highest potential.
ClaDun Returns might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it will definitely fill a void for players who want a throwback to something from the retro days that displays strong fundamentals towards its dungeon crawling roots. The game is loaded with content as there are tons of stages, and its compact brevity is ideal for portable playthroughs. Unfortunately, this same feature is also holding the game back, making it an extremely repetitively and somewhat flawed experience.
Cladun is an action role-playing load and strategy, where the endless possibilities of combinations of weapons, armor, classes and Miracle Circle, they boosted the replay value.

Cladun Returns: This Is Sengoku! is a well done throwback to adventure games of the late 80s and early 90s.
Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! can offer a amusing challenge that scratches an addictive itch, but those will need to stomach some of its frustrations to find what makes it a good game and reap the rewarding gameplay after taking a few missteps inside its challenging dungeons.
Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku is the first in the series to hit the PS4 and continues the series tradition of providing players with high quality and surprisingly deep dungeon-crawling. The retro feeling of the game is enough for the nostalgic crowd to be happy, but the game feels modern enough for any fan of the dungeon-crawling genre to enjoy. Progress and enjoyment from the game can be derived from 10 minute sessions as well as 5 hour sessions. Cladun doesn't take itself seriously, so I recommend it both to people who want to min-max their RPG characters as well as to those who just want to blindly dungeon-crawl.
Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! has awesome gameplay, great character creation, a catchy, old fashioned soundtrack and a thriving world full of surprises to find.
For anyone with a surplus of free time, Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! is a fine way to exhaust it. The process of collecting gear and levelling up is familiar to action RPG fans, but this game introduces a number of ideas to keep things fresh. The Magic Circle system is very slick in how it offers a multitude of build varieties. New additions, like the option to take on quests, make exploration a little more rewarding. However, spending most of the adventure jogging through randomised dungeons does wear thin. This title's long-term value depends on how much its players enjoy the grind.
ClaDun Returns: The Is Sengoku! might have its charm with its 8-bit retro visuals and a dungeon focused hack and slash gameplay but it starts to get repetitive rather quickly. There is not a lot to offer in term of story and content but if you are itching for a classic dungeon RPG, you might enjoy ClaDun Returns.
ClaDun Returns: This is Sengoku! is a game that reminds us of an older style of RPGs without losing the desire to modernize some mechanics that would feel out of place nowadays, and the game achieves it successfully. It's a fun experience in small doses and, if a bit forgettable, makes the hours invested in it worthwhile.

Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku is a fun and enjoyable game. It has little to no faults, it looks gorgeous, it also has a huge replay value with Co-op, and trying to beat your best times in dungeons. If you enjoyed games like The Binding Of Isaac then you will love this. While it may not be as difficult, it is still as fun.
While Cladun Returns: This Is Sengoku doesn't bring much new to the table from the previous installments in the series, it still feels fresh in its own way. Finally more people will be able enjoy its addictive gameplay as it is available on both PlayStation 4 and Vita and also on Steam.
Cladun is, at core, a lot of fun, and manages to take the most basic of gameplay loops that you could imagine in a video game, and make something eminently worthy out of it.
Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! is a fun and basic dungeon-crawling action RPG that's best enjoyed in short sessions.
The game is so deep and offers such a great loot em up dungeon crawler and well worth checking out.
