With Star Wars Battlefront II, DICE and EA have righted most of the wrongs from the first game, and have created one of the best Star Wars games ever.
The Star Wars Battlefront series has always been credible for it’s ability to somewhat ease the insatiable Star Wars void that sits inside fans of the iconic, sci-fi franchise. Come on fans, you have to admit that no matter how much you indulge in the series over a multitude of mediums, you always want more. This is where the Battlefront series shines. With it’s spectacular portrayal of Star Wars settings and events combined with trademark sounds of blaster rifles and Wookie cries, the Battlefront series definitely takes pride in it’s ability to moderate that galaxy sized void that sits inside you, regardless of who’s hands the game series sits in. It goes without saying that EA DICE’s sequel to Battlefront (2015), Battlefront 2 upholds that very same vibe the series is renowned for maintaining.
From the satisfying trooper battles on the ground to the thrilling dogfights in space, Battlefront 2 has struck back, delivering an unrivaled Force-fueled multiplayer fantasy.
Depending on what you're looking for in a Star Wars game, Battlefront II might be exactly what you need. It's clear that the developers have been paying close attention to player feedback, as this feels like a significant improvement over the previous entry in the series.
Bigger and better but not perfect. Its campaign it's too linear and predictable, and that hampers the experience. Besides that, its multiplayer face it almost flawless, despite the micropayment controversy.

Star Wars Battlefront II features a much greater variety of content than its first release. Both multiplayer and offline content can provide us many hours of entertainment. Technically, the game works very smoothly and fulfills everything we can demand of it. However, some aspects of the game need to be improved and the microtransaction system is confusing and makes difficult the progression.

Star Wars Battlefront II is a game rich of contents and extremely close to the Star Wars Universe. Graphics are impressive and the gameplay is simple and solid. Iden is not the character we expected, but the campaign has the power to brings all the Star Wars Experience directly to the player, taking him to the different planets and giving him eventually a limited perspective of what happened from Episode VI to Episode VII.

Star Wars Battlefront II is a complete experience unlike its predecessor. Despite the undelivered single-player campaign in terms of gameplay, the story was grand, magnificent, and well written! And even though it's riddled with microtransactions and loot crates, Star Wars Battlefront II delivered one of the best and smoothest multiplayer experience I've had this year, and I'm certainly satisfied.
Star Wars Battlefront II is plagued by an economic system that unfortunately reached itself into the game to affect gameplay in an unfair way. Even with EA/DICE withdrawing the pay to win system, the actions tainted the game. Though not without real gameplay flaws, Battlefront II is a stunning dive into the Star Wars universe with real prop scans and authentic sounds. Battlefront II leans more towards an online arcade adventure rather than a serious competitive FPS and it truly excels in this role.
All things said and done Star Wars Battlefront II is still worth playing and yes buying.

A very strong multiplayer offering tarnished by overly complicated character progression, and a lavish, beautiful story campaign lacking in substance or subtlety.
A revamped progression system and the demotion of loot boxes to a purely cosmetic role finally gives this ambitious Star Wars game the redemption it deserves.
Having flirted with the dark side in the run up to launch, Star Wars Battlefront II has had its reputation sullied by its underlying business model and how that is tied to character progression. That distracts from how much it improves on the first game though, with much better variety in Galactic and Starfighter Assault, character classes and team play being gently encouraged, and a broader and deeper player progression.
A great Star Wars game that shines in multiplayer and feels good even in single-player, but that pays the lack of attention towards users with its unpleasant business model.

Star Wars Battlefront II is a good video game, delivering a bigger and more detailed game than its predecessor. Much of the conversation will be around the loot box economy, but if you can look past that you will find a game that is as close to Star Wars magic as you will find.
I had a ton of fun playing Star Wars Battlefront II. It executes on presenting the Star Wars universe near-perfectly. The sights and sounds of lightsabers and blaster fire encapsulate every child-like midichlorian in your body. The campaign, while disappointing, is a small part of the complete package. There is enough content to keep you busy for dozens of hours, but the progression system may need an overhaul if EA wants to keep a strong multiplayer audience engaged.
