Star Wars Battlefront 2 Reviews
It was clear that Star Wars Battlefront II had some issues prior to release, but I’d never have guessed that they were this big. It’s a bitter disappointment to see a game with such promise turn to the dark side.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a game on par with its predecessor in terms of quality, but that is hard to see when it is covered in garbage business decisions.
Anyone who's already a Star Wars Fan, is definitely going to be entertained by it. However, if one's leaves any elements aside that actually indicate the Star Wars franchise, what's left is solely a generic shooter - with admittedly stunning visuals - but a game that's offering nothing new.

Star Wars Battlefront II suffers from not knowing where it wants to spend its time and resources. It tries to cover too many time periods and too many battles and ends up boxing itself in a corner due to a tie in with a movie that only releases in a month's time.
An engaging campaign, a satisfying arcade mode, and thrilling multiplayer make Star Wars Battlefront II an improvement over its predecessor and it should be the game to bring balance to the Force. The appalling progression system and unmistakable greed of the publisher tarnish all of that.
on the outside, Star Wars Battlefront 2 looks like a true AAA title, but in the inside it's not that different than freemium mobile games. it doesn't matter how accurately the world of Star Wars has been rebuilt or how realistic the graphics are, the game is a mess at it's core.

A few neat ideas a sprinkled throughout the latter half of Star Wars: Battlefront II with the story being competent in going through famous areas in the universe, the game is solid at the core but the needless microtransactions and terrible locked content keep it from being outstanding. I wanted to love it but left feeling used and abused despite fun times had
Star Wars Battlefront II has both the features that make us sad and happy.

when it comes to Multiplayer Star Wars: Battlefront 2 offers exciting and enjoyable elements, but the story doesn't add up to the game it could be finished in less than 4 hours, no need to say how much loot boxes affected the game progressions, but when you put everything negative aside Star Wars: Battlefront 2 still a mediocre game.

Star Wars Battlefront II gets a lot of things right. The presentation is absolutely top-notch, the gameplay is fun and well-executed and the choice of property is among my fall-time favourites. Where Star Wars Battlefront II has hurt itself is in a lack of care around the ability to play with your friends and a progression system structure around microtransactions.
Spectacular multiplayer is ruined by dumb progression system, which requires you to play for a very long time to finally have fun against someone who paid real money and got a head start.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 has a compelling story and that's it.
As an overall package, there’s a surprising amount to love about Battlefront II. Starfighter Assault aside, its individual modes are arguably not strong enough to carry their own games, but the variety on offer here does feel fairly generous. Yet, despite being chock-full of some brilliant Star Wars moments, it’s EA’s instance on putting profit over the player that leaves such a sour taste in our mouths.
When you design a Star Wars game around a loot crate system, you're bound to have issues. In this case, not even gorgeous graphics and smooth gameplay can make up for the mistakes made by EA and DICE.
Star Wars Battlefront II is the epitome of taking a step forward, shooting yourself in the foot and then falling backwards in pain.
There's a good game buried somewhere beneath too many cons. I just hope that Motive, Criterion, and DICE can right the starship before too many players launch their escape pods.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 feels lackluster and dull in so many categories.
New Battlefront has an extremely mediocre single player campaign, which is as far from a viable reason to buy this game as it can be. The multiplayer mode provides lots of fun but at the same time it suffers from lootboxes which disrupt the balance on the battlefield. Star Wars: Battlefront II is a good game dragged down by bad business practices of the publisher.

Underneath the terrible progression system, cheap payouts and more-than-gentle hand in the back towards paying for loot crates is the same excellent core, now across so much more content with the promise of more free maps and heroes to come.
Star Wars Battlefront II houses a decent single-player campaign and good multiplayer, but, like the otherwise slick design of its multiplayer maps, that accomplishment is often obscured by distractions.
