Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Reviews
Whether quietly or in a shower of blood, Death of the Outsider offers a satisfying romp through a complex, living, deep world.
Death of the Outsider's story never lives up to its promise, but strong mechanics, good gameplay, and a fascinating world pull it through.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a fitting resolution to a familiar story.
A no brainer for fans of the series, and a great way for newcomers to see what all the fuss is about.
Dishonored's tried-and-true gameplay returns and serves as a decent vehicle for an interesting narrative that gives the series a sense of finality
A (maybe) fine farewell to the Outsider, and hopefully not to the series.
Death of the Outsider is polished, yet largely forgettable when compared to its previous iterations.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is another masterful entry in the series that in spite of its relatively slender runtime, is still a good few hours of first-person nirvana. Like Dishonored and its sequel before it, this is utterly essential.
With this expansion Arkane Studios matched the quality level of the regular installments of the Dishonored series (and that really is something!). All fans of Dishonored 1 & 2 simply have to experience Death of the Outsider. Everyone else should do the same but only after finishing the previous games. It's worth it!

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a beautiful game that doesn't beat around the bush with story or gameplay design. It opens up the series just a bit and loosens the restrictions on how the game can be played, or rather should be played. While the adventure isn't quite as long as Dishonored 2, it certainly is made fun with non-linear gameplay and additional fun through contracts/challenges.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is more of perfect Dishonored 2, but with just enough changes to play both games one after the other and not get tired of the formula.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a fun and well-made standalone title that is certainly worth giving a shot. It's certainly one that's best enjoyed if you have played the first two games and simply want to experience more and want to see the series' loose ends tied up in a nice and clean narrative.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider captures everything that's great about Arkane's assassination series, while also showing that it can still surprise.
Death of the Outsider is a superb way of closing the parenthesis of the Dishonored saga. By giving the player new powers to play with, Arkane forces us to redefine the way we play the series. As usual, each level offers multiple possibilities, but this time the lethal of pacifist approach does not change the world we live in.

Death of the Outsider is a fantastic addition to the Dishonored universe that once again brings the broken city of Karnaca to life.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a conclusion that honors an amazing franchise.

Death of the Outsider is just more Dishonored in about every way, but it could have been a unique experience with a few additions like the aforementioned inclusion of mini-bosses and some co-operative missions with Daud. But I enjoyed my time slinking through its world and saying goodbye to an underappreciated franchise that opens the door for an all new direction if the story is to be continued.
If this truly is is the concluding chapter in the series, Dishonored exits with a fitting goodbye. Death of the Outsider takes a syringe to the magic formula, siphons up the good bits and leaves any and all excess behind.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a step forward into the right direction in the Dishonored world. Billie Lurk portrait bring us some of the most interesting themes and topics in the franchise. The game is pure poetry, and it comes in an excellent price point that every Dishonored fan or gamer should give it a shot.

Death of the Outsider is smaller, more focused standalone expansion that eschews some of the series' superfluous mainstays to deliver a core, action-stealth experience. If this is the end for Dishonored, then it's gone out in style.
