Onrush Reviews
The experienced driving game devs look to other genres for inspiration and deliver a mash-up which provides a unique, chaotic and downright fun experience for many hours.
It seems like good party game, but even then it lacks the longevity that would make you want to come back for more after 30 minutes or so. It's a fun premise, but one that's a few years too late.
As an arcade racer, Onrush is a neat distraction, one that lets you pummel opponents and boost to your heart's content. However, there are so many other racers – from Burnout Paradise and Mario Kart to Gran Turismo Sport and Forza Horizon – that can offer so much more, whether you seek a great arcade racer or a serious racing sim.
Original ideas are delightful, but there isn't too much of content. And we're going to be bored very quickly.

Altogether, Onrush is like a breath of fresh air. It's fast, frenzied and above all else, fun. If you're looking for something a little different to add to your game library, then you could do a lot worse than this.
ONRUSH is a nice break from the standard fair of racers. It offers some unique modes and fun visuals as well as a solid arcade gameplay experience. It does suffer from a pretty simple combat system and some odd design choices in regards to the cosmetic shop but honestly despite these shortcomings is still a blast to play. Overall it's a fun romp of a racer that offers some fresh, intense multiplayer gaming for you and your buddies.
When set against other titles offering vehicular combat such as Carmageddon, Interstate '76, or even Twisted Metal, Onrush pales in variety, longevity, and simple car crushing fun.
Onrush takes the best components of arcade racing and mashes it with the addictive nature of competitive online team-based combat to create one of the best games of the year
If you've been longing for a driving game with more destruction than you can keep up with, Onrush delivers. There are many things unique about this new arcade racer, the top being that the term “racer” is a misnomer.
Onrush delivers a sense of thrilling arcade action in a way no other game is doing but the awe-inspiring moments of epic proportions quickly become old as they happen so rapidly.
OnRush is a brilliant and original title, but not as deep as other competitive alternatives. Now that there's the base of the strutcture and it's clearly good and intuitive, developers have the responsability to bring continuosly new elements to support to their, hopefully, growing creature.

Though it is capable of annoying at times, Onrush is hands down a brilliant arcade racer.
Onrush does well to fill that racing void as a non-serious arcade, 'destruction-derby type of vehicular mayhem' experience. However, as enjoyable and heart-pounding as the matches can be, the novelty eventually begins to wear thin and, once that happens, there is little else that can reignite the flame in this racer.
Strangely enough, Onrush checks every item on my gamer wishlist while still staying well below its potential. It's beautiful, fun and technically sound, but it also has an identity crisis that won't go away anytime soon. It's a great casual online experience that wants to be more than that — but doesn't actually offer enough to achieve it. The continuous updates may nudge the game closer to that goal, but recent layoffs at the studio don't instill hope that updates will continue at a consistent rate. If you're looking for a fun, bare-bones, online racing experience, Onrush may still be the perfect game for you. It still has a long way to go to fulfill its potential.
ONRUSH is a fantastically fun game that reminds us why we love to get behind the virtual wheel and boost/takedown our way through the opposition.
After my time with On Rush, I got over Evolution Studio's closure in a heart beat. On Rush is the first collaboration between two racing giants that shows its deep heritage and creates a new formula for itself. All in a, it's the perfect package of what an arcade racing game should be.

All in all, Onrush turns out to be a wonderful and addicting entry into the racing genre.
Onrush rapidly became one of my favorite arcade titles because of its frenetic pace and fun gameplay. Even with its small amount of content, I can see myself playing Onrush for a long time.

Creators of Motorstorm introducing a new kind of racing. It is amusing but without full-featured multiplayer.

Onrush took the best from the dynamic arcade races and diluted the formula with elements from the session games. It turned out fresh and incredibly exciting.
