Overcooked 2 Reviews
With the welcome additions of online multiplayer and a versus arcade mode, Overcooked 2 provides even more opportunities to riff off your very best profanities while brandishing a frying pan for dramatic effect — a superb party game for all ages and sensibilities.
These days, with all the focus on online multiplayer, it's not as easy to find a satisfying couch co-op game, especially one that can be enjoyable across several age groups. Playing such a good one reminds me of how much more spirited a game feels when you can feed off the other players' energy in person. Overcooked 2 should be cherished, even if it's exhausting and threatens to tear your family apart.
Overcooked 2's simplistic control scheme and basic premise means that anybody in your circle of friends can pick up and enjoy the fast-paced action the franchise has come to be known for. An improvement in every aspect, Overcooked 2's addition of ever changing kitchen experiences as well as online multiplayer options cements itself as one of the best multiplayer (especially co-op) experiences you can buy right now. Delicious.
Playing Overcooked 2, it's evident that Ghost Games understood what worked and what didn't in the original. New mechanics feel like an evolution of core gameplay rather than the likes of a DLC pack that adds a couple new chefs or kitchens. Even new recipes like different varieties of sushi feel fun and fresh, with different components that need to be left raw or cooked.
Instead of changing the recipe of success that the developers found with the original, Overcooked 2 is more of an extension of awesomeness.
Despite some early concerns, Overcooked 2 is an undeniably brilliant co-op experience.
It's obvious how much rage-tinted joy can be conjured from out Ghost Town Games' quirky set-up of cooking up meals, together with a sprinkling of simulation-style managing of one's kitchen workspace.
Overcooked 2 delivers another highly enjoyable yet chaotic co-op experience that will make or break relationships all over again
Overcooked! 2 may not feel like a fully realized sequel, feeling mostly like more of the same with just a dash of new mechanics and online gameplay, but I suspect that's enough for most fans of the original game. I'm certainly not burnt out just yet.
Overcooked 2 is one of the most awesome party game you can play at the moment. Excluding some repetitive defects, the title offers a great career in single player and many hours of multiplayer fun.

A worthy successor to the original, Overcooked 2 delivers in all the ways you'd want it too, with room for a little more.
The kitchen chaos of 'Overcooked 2' is a must do experience for any Nintendo Switch owner (and their friends). There are some nice upgrades from the original and the gameplay, varied kitchen design and change from level to level make it a truly fun and engaging experience. The difficulty is ever present, and there are some really rewarding experiences when you finally earn that 3rd star on some of the later levels. This game is best played on the couch with friends and it should be a part of everyones Nintendo Switch owners catalogue.
Overcooked 2 has made a big progress. The kitchens are much more imaginative and dynamic, and the brand new ability to throw food makes the pace of the game faster and funnier. Besides, the online support makes it possible to play with your friends even when you are not sitting side by side.

When we first started Overcooked! 2, we expected a two to a three-star game due to lack of advertisement and knowledge. Instead, we were treated to a full course meal with a few peculiar side dishes that left our pallets craving more.
A showcase of social gaming at its best, you owe it to yourself to put on your (virtual) toque blanche and revel in the delight that is Overcooked 2.
For both masters of Overcooked and complete newcomers to video games, Ghost Town Games' newest offering will be sure to delight.
If you just want more Overcooked though and aren't expecting a revolution, you'll be satisfied with the amount of new content. New players to the series will enjoy this on its own and since online is now available, this opens up multiplayer play to just about everyone whether you have friends next to you or not. Whichever way you play, this is a fun and frantic experience that everyone deserves to enjoy.
Despite its few niggles, Overcooked 2 delivers everything that made the first game so great, but in a bigger, better and more appetising package.
Like I mentioned, I loved and platinumed Overcooked, and I WILL Platinum Overcooked 2 as well thanks to the help of my daughter who's been enjoying the game as much as I have. So far this year, this is my best couch multiplayer game I've played, and I definitely recommend that you to purchase this game, so that we can eventually get an Overcooked 3!
Overcooked 2 just gives all of us fans of the original game more which is all you can really ask for from a game that already did so much right. So invite a friend over on the couch or team up with some online in order to save the Onion Kingdom once again in this must play multiplayer experience.
