The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit Reviews
Even though The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is more a Life is Strange 2's pre-purchase commercial than a decent complete game, it's cozy and satisfying to play because of great environmental storytelling, vivid characters, and interesting explore experience.

Other shortcomings found in the sometimes-clunky writing and overly scripted emotional moments can feel unearned or sloppy. But the spirit and charm found in the surprise-hit Life is Strange is certainly here in The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit.
The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is the great return of Dontnod into the Life is Strange franchise. It' s lovely, well crafted, and touching as usual (and it's also renewed in graphics).

If The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit cost a bit of money, we'd still highly recommend it. The fact that it's totally free means it's elevated to a must-play, even if you have no plans on playing Life Is Strange 2 - and if you're considering it, play this now. Any minor quibbles we might have, like some interactive points not being obvious, drop away when you remember that it's free.
A short but - most importantly - free episode taster for the upcoming Life is Strange 2, the adventures of Captain Spirit appear that they'll indeed, be awesome.
Dontnod didn't necessarily need to make The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, but I'm really glad that it did.
The game is overall a short experience, which honestly is a detriment to it because I legitimately wanted to see some kind of resolution for Chris and his dad, Charles.
If Dontnod has created this mere prologue for the single purpose of hyping the 2nd season of Life is Strange, then I must say that they've done a pretty decent job. This short but rewarding experience has given us a proper outlook of what to expect from Life is Strange 2 and prepared us for the next set of the strangest events life has to offer

Chris is like the person who, we fans of video games and comic books, always loved to be. A child who flew over the boundaries of adults reality, A child who was never born.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is an easy recommendation for Life is Strange fans as well as for those who have never touched the series before. Clocking in at 90 minutes, the episode can easily be completed in a single sitting; the episode's characters, on the other hand, will stay with you long after you put down the controller. If you have a free afternoon and some space on your hard drive, you have no excuse: Give Captain Spirit a whirl. It's free.
The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is a mediocre adventure game, even though it's free-to-play. However, if you are a fan of Life is Strange series, it can very well serve as an appetizer for Life is Strange 2.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit takes you to a different and beautiful adventure, Just like the previous Dontnod games. But the short story makes it impossible for us to know Chris well and understand his feelings and we need (also, we want)to know more about him. The game has some cool and interesting features, especially Chris's new power is so fun. But also there is still a lot of space for improvements, and we hope to see these improvements, and of course Chris himself, in the future.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit attempts to set the stage for Chris and his heroic adventures, but the execution is lacking. Its lack of focus, along with its robust “Awesome Things to Do” chore list, make its two hour runtime drag out far longer than it has any right to.
A worthy (and free) successor to Life is Strange, and an intriguing teaser for the full sequel. Dontnod have improved on most accounts and look to draw in new fans with this prologue.
The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is absolutely a great teaser for Life Is Strange 2. Can't wait to see more of Chris amazing character and wide imagination.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is a nice and well-built childish game that perfectly fits with the amazing world of Life is Strange. If you're looking for another intense and heartbreaking story, Chris will be your best friend in this new adventure from Dontnod Entertainment.

Fans of the series will play this and find themselves completely relieved of any lingering concerns that they may have had that Max and Chloe are no longer the focus of the series, with Captain Spirit proving the Life is Strange universe - and Dontnod's on mastery over this kind of storytelling - is bigger then just the original protagonists.
Captain Spirit is a really fun time. It manages to remind us of the developers love for effective storytelling. It's awesome. And it's free.
The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is a good contribution to the world of Life is Strange, which works more than well as a prelude to a full-fledged sequel. Plus, it's completely free. What else could you want?

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is, quite simply, awesome and really scratches that Life is Strange itch leading up the release of Life is Strange 2. Dontnod is really on to something with this series and I hope that they can bottle lightning twice by making LiS2 as good as the first game.
