SoulCalibur VI Reviews
Soulcalibur 6 has brought the franchise back from the brink. A little underwhelming in the story department, the game still manages to deliver a satisfying fighting game experience.
Soulcalibur 6 is an exciting fighting game with impressively robust character creation tools and a great roster of fighters, but its single player content is a mixed bag.
undefined.I may not be home and able to play this latest entry with my mother, but it feels wonderful to call her and tell her that there's a new Soulcalibur game that's pretty dang good despite some relatively minor flaws; that characters we loved like Talim, Taki and Xianghua have returned; and that I'm making new memories with beloved friends so amusing that I've already begun to record them. Soulcalibur VI isn't just a reboot—it's a revitalization, and it proves that the tale of souls and swords still has the potential to be eternally retold.
A worthy successor to a long-dormant throne, Soulcalibur is back with a vengeance!
Soulcalibur VI fills the gap between casual fighting games and serious e-sports disciplines. It has great mechanics, which are easy to learn for newcomers, and perfect character editor. But most important of all is that Soulcalibur VI is really interesting to play.

Overall Bandai Namco did a fantastic job resurrecting the Soulcalibur franchise with the 6th version.
"Soulcalibur VI" proves to be a modern, albeit slightly superficial, beat 'em up classic. Even though the fighting engine has undergone a noticeable fine-tuning, giving the game a pleasantly tactical depth, there's no point in looking for groundbreaking innovations. Especially the staging outside the fights is sometimes very unkind, so that "Soulcalibur VI" rather moves in the shadow of other beat 'em up's. All in all a technically round title with a decent amount of scope, inviting fans of beatings to entertaining game sessions.

New system and new changes make SoulCalibur VI become more friendly to new players than usual, and still remains the depth of strategy. What is more, you can spend plenty of time in both singleplayer mode and multiplayer mode, because it provides so much content that you will never get bored.

SoulCalibur VI is a good fighting game with a great combat system, friendly to a newcomer but hard to master. There are enough modes to capture the interest of the mass and a wide list of characters to choose from. Bandai Namco has done a good job bringing this series back to life in this subtle restart to the franchise. They managed to take the best from the previous instalments and adapt to the new era of fighting games.
SoulCalibur VI's combat could crack even the toughest case of fighting game-phobia; it's strategic, fluid, and deep, but remains as accessible as ever. It's unfortunate that it's hampered by a lack of interesting modes, and that its hefty single-player offerings attempt to shift the focus away from the robust combat system and towards stale, cumbersome stories.
Soul Calibur 6 is most remarkable fighting game of this year. Especially character creation is menu very good and detailed.

All in all SoulCalibur VI is an amazing package with more character content on the way sure to keep any player having a good time.
Soulcalibur VI is a great way to bring back the franchise. There is a ton of content to be found and outside of a few omissions, the roster is great. Character creation leaves the door open for plenty of interesting designs.
Soulcalibur VI revitalizes the once great franchise and returns it to the glory days of the first couple entries.
It’s a must-own game even if you’re not a fan.
While SoulCalibur VI probably will not be a top title in the eSports fighting scene, it has a solid enough online presence that should provide plenty of competitive gameplay. That being said, too often the fighting genre relies too heavily on online competition to give their games longevity. Kudos to the development team here for creating an incredibly robust single player experience that is worth coming back to time and again. This makes SoulCalibur VI my vote for best fighting game of 2019.
I'd recommend this to anyone with even a passing interest in the fighting genre, and especially to those like me who just want a fighting game that's fun to play.
Leaving aside the fact that its a reboot from the series, Soulcalibur VI es a great fighting game that retains most of the elements that have made the franchise one of the best among the genre. Yes, it doesnt add many novelties to the gameplay formula and some modes lack some charm, but nevertheless, its an awesome game worth your money and time, more if you love fighting games.

While the developer has said that if Soulcalibur VI doesn't do well we might not see a continuation of the series, this will surely nab a strong foothold in the genre and if we get a new entry. It will be interesting to see where it evolves to next, and with what kind of fan-driven refinements.
Open to newcomers, but with a really deep combat system for hardcore players. This one can attract everyone.
