Jump Force excels at fanservice, at showing what battles between all these characters would look like. It does not excel as an actual fighting game however. Unbalanced mechanics and poorly designed UI make Jump Force a chore to play, despite the exciting visual trappings.

Jump Force is a mediocre game that didn’t use its potential properly. On one hand, we see that the gameplay core is implemented very well and the graphics are good relative to other Anime/Manga based games, on the other hand, some abilities are extremely unbalanced and overpowered, the story is not interesting especially in the earlier chapters and there are also some AI problems. If you’re a very hardcore anime game, then I can recommend this game to you. Otherwise, I think it is best to wait for sometime, so that the balancing issues would get fixed and after that, you can decide better.

Jump Force is a game full of good intentions; their execution, homewever, is heavily flawed.

While I wouldn’t say Jump Force is a good game by any means, there’s still a lot of fun to be had, especially with friends.

Jump Force is not a bad fighting game. In fact, anime and manga fans will have a good time here even if they are a casual player of fighting games. The issue is that it is wrapped around a boring a tedious hub world for pretty much everything you do.

Jump Force is an ambitious fighting game that stumbles several times on itself, trying to overcome its predecessors and chasing other well-known exponents of the genre.

Jump Force is the kind of game that would usually just come and go due to how unimpressive and flawed of an effort it is, and it's more than likely that that's exactly what it is going to do. And yet, buried beneath all of the bad is some honest amount of good. It's almost a shame that Jump Force wasn't more of a mess in everything other than its 3-vs-3 fights, because the game would be a whole lot more enjoyable if we were able to laugh at its terribleness more often.

Although I found a little happiness while playing this game, it is still not a good choice for Jump fans.

It’s not a terrible game, but one that could use a patch or two to bring things up to speed.

Even well-known manga heroes together can't assure fine entertainment in this fighting game. However it's still good to meet Goku, Luffy or Naruto.

Jump Force unites big Shonen Jump series for fighting. However story and character is terrible. But if you are big anime or manga fan, you should play this game.

Jump Force is a very disappointing game and not only because of the choice to set the narrative on our planet. The low-deep combat system and the clumsy technical department outline a raw game, though full of interesting material to draw on. Paradoxically, the singular artistic direction is only the last of the problems of the game, which sees in its encyclopedic nature the only true good element.

An ambitious brawler that suffers from something of an identity crisis, Jump Force will nevertheless delight anime fans – especially those of a vintage who knows the more obscure characters included here. A bit more finesse on the controls, making them less complex and more responsive, would have elevated the whole experience greatly, as would a more coherent and polished story mode, but it's a solid enough experience with more than enough spectacle and strategy to satisfy. If you're looking for a dedicated fighter that will both test your skills and prove more accessible though, Bandai Namco's own Tekken or SoulCalibur are far better examples of the genre.

Like the Dissidia series, Jump Force is something I'm going to be coming back to for random bits of fun throughout the years. The core is good, it's just let down by some odd design choices and an average campaign. This is an older brawler in an HD skin: if you want something more than that, look elsewhere.

Jump Force is an interesting showcase for anime crossover fights. The story is very shallow and repetitive, but the combat is still enjoyable. Characters suffer from odd design choices, but the Japanese voice acting is great.

Jump Force has major problems, but it can actually be really fun. It feels tedious when playing missions, and repetitive at times in combat. But using your favourite characters' abilities in battle remains fun throughout. It's going to be an acquired taste, but anime fans will actually find a lot to enjoy here. Just stick to the online play, where you can remain blissfully ignorant of the awful cutscenes and animation.
