Wolfenstein: Youngblood maintains the quality of other deliveries and improves on other sections, such as multiplayer. Possibly one of the best in the series.

If you liked Wolfenstein's previous installments, you will love this one, as it continues with the history of the Blazcowickz in the 80s and gives you the opportunity to play it with a friend, without skimping on blood, violence, and Nazi destruction.

Regardless, with graphical improvements, constant performance updates, and an upcoming RTX implementation on Nvidia’s side of things – Wolfenstein: Youngblood could very well be one of the greatest the series has to offer in quite some time. Our only complaint? The minor audio and video jitters that do happen once in a very blue moon.

MachineGames continues to raise the overall level of the Wolfenstein franchise, although it could have taken more advantage of the cooperative and there is excessive grinding.

This side chapter provides a steady dollop of Nazi-massacring fun, especially if you have a pal along for the ride

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is an excellent stopgap before the inevitable Wolfenstein 3. You can dip your toes back into the world and the new combat changes come together to create the best combat in the series. Light RPG elements help add a new flavour to the franchise as well. Jess and Soph are the standout stars of Youngblood and help lift up the underwhelming and largely inconsequential main narrative. The overall package isn't as good as The New Order, but Youngblood is a silly, fun, and gory romp worth experiencing.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a very good fast-paced action game that also has some RPG elements that make gameplay deeper than the previous installments in these series. Some of the RPG elements like leveling system may hinder the pace of the game in some ways, nonetheless, it is still a "Wolfenstein", a fast action game based on shooting and destroying every Nazi you see. The level design is more sandbox and non-linear and each mission offers you different ways to finish it. The AI of the partner in single-player mode has some issues, but if you play the game in co-op, it will be full of fun and great moments. At all, If you are fan of Wolfenstein series orlooking for a fast co-op action game full of killing and levelling, Wolfenstein: Youngblood is an amazing choice for you.

Wolfenstein Youngblood success in presenting a fresh approach to the FPS genre, with a great coop and an interesting story where the daughters of BJ Blazkowicz are looking for him in Paris.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is not a complete and flawless game; Its ordinary plot has so much room for improvement, not having split-screen co-op is a big negative point, and most importantly it looks more like a DLC than a full game. But when you consider that this co-op game is being sold only for $30 and the fact that its gameplay, characterizations, sound, and controls are all superb in terms of quality, it makes experiencing it even on single-player mode worth it. Wolfenstein: Youngblood is one of the best shooters released this year; a title that can easily please fans of the first-person shooter genre to a great extent.

Wolfenstein Youngblood is not Wolfenstein III. It never claimed to be and in many ways it proves to have unique goals separate from what we’ve seen of the series so far. If you’re worried the true finale will play like Youngblood, a co-op loot shooter-lite, don’t fret. We expect this is just an offshoot. But even with that said, Youngblood does tread this new ground with confidence and charisma, and that comes through with every step you take as the resistance’s dorkiest killing machines.

Wolfenstein Youngblood is an awesome third chapter in the latest Wolfenstein series. The fast gameplay, weapon customization, and AI make this a great FPS, but it doesn't live up to the same cinematic level as the first two games.

This "supplementary" episode recovers the typical gunplay of the series, looks with interest at the structure of The New Colossus, but adds some new ingredients to weigh the formula.

Wolfenstein Youngblood is the perfect game for everybody, who ever wanted to play a Wolfenstein spin-off with a friend. The coop-features are truly convincing as well as the typical Wolfenstein gameplay and humor. As Wolfenstein Youngblood is not a full price title, we have to accept a less complex story and noticeable rare cutscenes.

Despite changing a number of mechanics and aspects of the game, I thoroughly enjoyed playing Wolfenstein: Youngblood. If you’ve got a friend to play with, or don’t mind jumping in with a stranger, then the enjoyment you’ll get out of the title will be a lot more than playing solo, not because it’s bad if you play on your own, it’s just a bit harder as your AI companion can be a bit unpredictable. There are tonnes of side missions, collectables and secrets to uncover, but the game does begin to get a little repetitive and annoying with the respawning enemies and level-based bullet sponges. However, I don’t mind monotony and repetitive games as it means I can play them without being 100% focused all the time, so I personally found the experience enjoyable and entertaining, especially the narrative later on into the game.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood offers an enjoyable co-operative take on the famed Nazi-killing series that introduces some clever new ideas to go along with the traditional (and satisfying) first-person shooting set pieces. Admittedly, some of those ideas do miss the mark a bit, especially when they leave some weapons feeling unsatisfying to use on occasions – there’s a little bit too much of a focus on having to upgrade weapons, which can slow down your progress during the game’s trickier sections. However, with the typically brilliant gunplay, intuitive levelling up mechanics, and fun co-op gameplay, there’s a hell of a lot more good than bad in MachineGames’ latest release and it’s an essential purchase for fans of the first-person shooting series.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood falls a step behind previous games... Which doesn't mean is bad at all. The formula works as fine as ever, and there are some very welcome changes. You can kill nazis with a friend, too, which means this game freaking rules.
