Mighty Switch Force! Collection is a great way to bring Wayforward's 3DS series to the Switch that will undoubtedly appeal to both fans of the series and newcomers alike. The decision to separate the first game and its HD remaster is one we're not fully on board with, and we'd love to have seen some extra content like concept art and soundtracks. Nevertheless, every game included features superb gameplay and level design, making this a collection that every Switch owner should experience.

Players who have not experienced any of the titles, just one or just want them all together in one place should certainly pick this up. Fans of puzzlers and platforming alike should certainly look into the Mighty Switch Force collection. Honestly, the price of $19.99 is an amazing value, considering the amount of content included in this collection.

Mighty Switch Force! Collection includes four good platformer games. The level design has some flaws like being very simple in most levels but it is still a very enjoyable experience. The main problem of the collection is the short length of each game and so the sum of them is still not much. At all but in the end, Mighty Switch Force! Collection offers a good experience to platformer fans and worth to try.

Mighty Switch Force! Collection is a collection full of fun and creative games, bringing a beautiful mix of classic inspirations with its own touches to modernize platform games, and even its short duration doesn't stop it from bringing you a great and consistent experience.

Mighty Switch Force! Collection is a brilliant way to bring all the games in the series together and introduce them to a wider audience. But it could have been much better than what it currently is, boasting more features and content (like the "Hose It Down!" spin-off title) to make it the ultimate collection of the series' history. Nevertheless, it contains 4 really fun puzzle platformer titles which previous fans of the series and even newcomers to the franchise can enjoy playing alike.

Even if you've played these games before, I'd say this collection is absolutely worth picking up. It's wonderful to have them all on Switch since they were spread between three platforms originally (3DS, Wii U, Steam), and the Mighty Switch Force games are just plain fun and full of personality. I would like to have seen a collection of concept art a la the SNK and Street Fighter collections because Digital Eclipse has spoiled me forever with that kind of bonus content, but that doesn't take away from the experience, and I will never, ever get sick of kicking that ugly baby.

The Mighty Switch Force! Collection, priced at just under 20 Euros, revives a concept from 2011 that has aged well. Each of the four chapters offers satisfying gameplay, though its repetitive nature is evident.

Mighty Switch Force! Collection includes four of its main titles which, if you get some decent practice game time from the first game, you'll be prepared to play the others while understanding the context in no time. The flow of the game is frequent but short per stage, which allows the practice to excitement ratio to be fulfilled quite quickly from each completion. Even with the continuous sequels, they’ve kept the game’s signature style of action and creative stage designs to be consistent. The price to volume ratio tends to be generous, which directly meets the purpose of the so called ‘collections’ package while enough to get the most out of its pricing.

Buying these games individually might’ve been a hard sell for some due to the almost non-existent story and generally very low run-time. The whole collection is a great value, though. For $20, you get three amazing platformers, and 20 hours worth of playtime, minimum.

I don’t find Mighty Switch Force! as appealing as Shantae or River City Girls but they are fun, simple, yet challenging platformers that some players may really enjoy.

Mighty Switch Force Collection is a fantastic compilation of Wayforward’s puzzle platformer series. Containing the two major games, along with a remake and a spinoff, this is an almost complete collection, only missing that aforementioned puzzle game, which I honestly wish was added to supplement Academy. The controls are incredibly tight and just as responsive as they were in the original games, and with some of the best level designs in puzzle platformers.

The team at Wayforward have been responsible for some of my favourite Indie games over the last few years – all of the games in the Shantae series, A Boy & His Blob and Contra 4. How I’ve never heard of the Mighty Switch Force! series is something that will continue to baffle me for a long time as this sort of game is right up my street.

One of the most compelling reasons for this collection’s existence is to make each of these games available on current platforms—the original game and its numbered sequel were previously Nintendo 3DS exclusives, while the Hyper Drive Edition remake of the original could only be found on the Wii U/PC, and Mighty Switch Force! Academy was similarly exclusive to the PC platform. That’s a lot of fragmentation, and the convenience of having all four games available in a single package on a single platform can’t be overstated.
