Cloudpunk is a good and acceptable game overall. Its story and the huge world are very rich and its small and large narratives attract you. However, problems such as duplication of gameplay, technical issues, and sometimes unconventional sounding make the game unable to reach its final potential. If you are looking for an acceptable story-oriented story that has an imaginative and forward-looking atmosphere, Cloudpunk is the choice we offer you in the current situation.

With a few technical restrictions and its demands on your gaming rig, Cloudpunk isn’t perfect. It’s a quite simple in structure and though it promises a lot of freedom, it’s a freedom within certain boundaries and confines of the tech, and within the heavily limited actions available. This is not Grand Theft Auto in a futuristic metropolis. It does however feature the most wonderfully realised sci-fi city I’ve ever had the pleasure to fly around, and goddamn, it’s the first flying car game I’ve ever played, and I can’t believe the stunning lack of flying car games in the gaming market.

Since I have picked up this title and I have found it extremely hard to put down. I have even found myself removing my switch from its comfy home on the dock and taking the adventure with me to work. If you are looking for a mid-tier priced game at $24.99 that has a great atmosphere and offers several hours of gameplay, look no further.

While it may have small performance issues and a stripped back graphical style some people may not enjoy, I adored Cloudpunk. I simply could not stop playing it, I was heavily immersed in Rania's story and was taken back by how invested I got in this dank, dark world. I am even thinking about playing it no and hopping back in to mop up the remaining trophies. Right that's it, I'm off to Nivalis.

An aesthetic joy throughout, and a cyberpunk tale well worth delivering to your desktop.

Cloudpunk succeeds in delivering a worthwhile open-world adventure. The story isn't perfect, but the characters are extremely well-written. The audiovisual design also drives the game forward, presenting a world that's dark, futuristic, and mysterious. You might struggle with the camera and controls at times, but don't let that detract from what is an otherwise awesome character-driven game.

Cloudpunk is a fantastic sci-fi dystopia, with some great writing and voice-acting which helps bring the stories of the people of Nivalis to life. Whilst the experience can get a bit repetitive the excellence elsewhere ensures it is worth experiencing.

Cloudpunk absolutely nails the cyberpunk aesthetic, but it backs up style with substance. A thoughtful and sensitive story, interesting characters, and some challenging environmental puzzles all make its attractive setting really fun to play around in, even if there are limitations.

A very promising indie with a gameplay in which freedom, and relaxation will prevail. Encounters with very curious characters, IAs with very questionable decisions and plots of corruption and allegory of the human condition and technological escalation. An interesting game to get lost in.

The story has some issues, but this vast, beautiful city is a joy to take flight in.

You can enjoy Cloudpunk because of its great atmosphere and a dense metropolis that makes you feel like the big crash is imminent once the leading AI makes a mistake. Also, Cloudpunk features a strong narrative. The PS4 port is rather weak.

If you’re looking for a casual game with an interesting story and a car AI which was once a dog, Cloudpunk is for you. Despite the few technical issues I had with the game, I can easily highly recommend the game to anyone who likes games they can just put on and relax whilst playing. The voxel art design combined with the cyberpunk theme works really well, delivering a futuristic dystopian city to explore as if someone’s recreated Blade Runner in Lego or Minecraft!

Cloudpunk is a tremendous accomplishment in creating a setting; in the sub-genre of cyberpunk, it knows few rivals. There’s a sense of place that demands your attention and dares you to comb every corner and jaw with every sentient settler. For a game about choice, a simplistic approach to gameplay can, at times, deprive the player of meaningful agency, which feels as though it soars in the face of the message. It’s still an absolute pleasure to drink in this one unforgettable night in Nivalis, Cloudpunk is a frontrunner for indie game of the year.

If you’re even remotely into cyberpunk worlds, Cloudpunk is a game for you. It’s cheap, but the production value is through the roof. I would happily have paid double what this game retails for and still say it’s worth it. Don’t let the screenshots fool you. The world is massive, and the story is all-consuming.

It feels unappreciative to wish that there could be even more of it, but it’s like that perfect cup of tea. You’ll always want another one.

Cloudpunk was a fun voxel-like exploring, delivery game. The graphics fit perfectly and didn't feel like a gimmick. Though feeling repetitive at times, there were side quests, conversations, and collectibles that helped the "drive".

Cloudpunk offers a beautiful city to explore, but unfortunately there's not much to discover there once you delve deeper.
