Predator: Hunting Grounds Reviews
Predator: Hunting Grounds has a lot of potential that is currently not being exploited. The asymmetrical game principle is basically well implemented, but unfortunately it is thrown over by the immature balancing. The template is made for this and it is to be hoped that Illfonic will add a little more. Revise the balancing, add a few maps and please improve the technique a little bit, then the whole thing can still develop.

Avoid Predator: Hunting Grounds like you're being hunted by the Predator itself!
Predator: Hunting Grounds looks like a free-to-play game, poor in content, mechanics and visuals, where certain animations and effects are completely out of date, making impossible to recommend it beyond the most absolute fans of the Predator character or online multiplayer games.

Predator: Hunting Ground is a quite fun and entertaining game and one of which, without becoming a follower of the franchise, we will spend very great moments. If, on the other hand, you are a fan, this is undoubtedly your game, since the feeling of playing like a Predator and feeling like you are hunting humans is priceless. The feeling of immersion is brutal and the graphics, quite correct, contribute to it.

Predator: Hunting Grounds turns out to be a missed opportunity since many improvements could have been made if the title had spent more time in development.

Outside of some obvious glaring issues, Predator: Hunting Grounds is a fun multiplayer game that is still one of the best uses of a license since the Arkham series.
Predator: Hunting Grounds isn’t perfect, but it does a good job of offering a fun action-packed multiplayer romp with one of cinema’s deadliest warriors. It’s enjoyable playing as both the Fireteam and the Predator, so you’re in for a good time no matter who you play as. There’s plenty of gear to earn through progression too, so you’ll always have new weapons, perks, and equipment to customise your loadouts with. It is a shame that there aren’t more maps to play through though, whilst some performance issues and inconsistent gameplay mechanics do hamper the experience in places. Overall though, Predator: Hunting Grounds certainly has more good than bad and it’s easy to find yourself completely engrossed into the experience. Let’s just hope that Illfonic keep supporting the game with additional content and updates over the coming months…
Predator: Hunting Grounds is a periodically fun experience plagued by many issues, that ultimately only speaks to hardcore fans of the original movie.

Predator Hunting Grounds offers an interesting yet limited online experience. The marked difference between the human combatant side and the relentless star hunter creates a consistent and enjoyable gameplay experience. But, for now, also limited in scenarios and ways of playing. Nor does the current problematic matchmaking help. Time will tell how this promising proposal from Illfonic and Sony evolves.

Predator: Hunting Grounds offers us a simple, direct and concise gameplay, that sins of simple past a few games. The truth is that it can be addictive, since if you do not care which side you are you can play games quickly, and the tension, as well as the development of the mission, are very well reflected.

“Predator Hunting grounds actually does a half-decent job of capturing some of the awesome that was the first Predator movie. But its gameplay as content is spread really thin and has many issues, which makes the game feel a little unfinished”
Not the prettiest game on the market: Check. Absolutely needs Quality of Life improvements: Check. Comes complete with a plethora of wonky glitches: Check. However, it finds that sweet spot where the hook just plain works. The reward of leveling and loot, the stress of scanning the treetops when you hear that Preda-purr, and the satisfaction of systematically wiping out an entire fireteam; it all just works.
The game have hunted down a recommendation of 7 points out of 10. It's a nice surprise to watch how the developers took over other famous film brands, worked it out greatly and added a couple of easter eggs, which will make fans all the more happy. However, the game has its mistekes, which reduce its quality. Players can leave the game soon, so developers must try to fix any bugs and deliver new content on a regular basis. Either way, good luck hunting! Or actually escpaing… you know what? Just enjoy the game.

Unfortunately, the lack of overall content, poor optimisation for the PS4 system, lacklustre AI, repetition and questionable design choices means the title just doesn’t stack up against other shooters on the market.
A very careful artistic design, a "movie" sound section and a very addictive gameplay we can say without fear of being mistaken that Predator Hunting Ground holds the title of being the best adaptation made of the 1987 film.

Illfonics respectable efforts are recognised here, and have shown slight improvement over their survival horror title. It certainly is in need of improvements, but you will have a fun playing this title. For however long though, is at your discretion.
Predator: Hunting Grounds isn't bad at all, but it desperately needs more content and bugfixing. The core gameplay is very promising, though.

There’s love for the franchise here for sure, it just needed more time in the oven to produce a quality product of that love.
There is a shell of a good game in Predator: Hunting Grounds, but severe balancing issues, poor console performance, and general clunkiness hold it back from standing shoulder to shoulder with other solid 4v1 multiplayer games—even the one its developer has made before. While its Predator callbacks are solid, for fans looking for another good Predator game, there's not one to be found here. At least not yet.
Predator: Hunting Grounds is a lot of fun to play, but it does have many technical problems that really drag it down.
