I was hoping Iron Man VR would be the quintessential, possible swan song for the peripheral device. It isn’t quite, but it’s still a solid, popcorn-like story romp.
The end result is an entirely competent game that I finished because I had to, not because I really wanted to.
Iron Man VR lets you step into the shoes of Tony Stark, with some of the best gameplay on the platform to date. Just don't expect much in the way of story or graphics.
Marvel's Iron Man VR is not the best PlayStation VR game of all time Camouflaj promised us. But it's a pleasant one with some good action and an interesting story. Too bad its graphics feel a bit outdated, loading screens are so long and we can only move using teleportation in a certain area.

As Marvel games go, Iron Man VR doesn't quite hit the high mark set by the superlative Spider-Man, but it's an often engaging and exhilarating experience to step into shellhead's signature armour. Long load times, overused padding and poor writing mar what would otherwise be the ultimate Iron Man adventure.
For every few moments in Iron Man VR that gave me an absolute rush, there were several that felt comfortably sterile. That's not the best ratio, but I'd definitely play more and I hope that Camouflaj gets their hands on Iron Man again: if only to see how they can top themselves and mend their mistakes.
An impressively ambitious, and consistently enjoyable, VR action game that embraces all aspects of the Iron Man character and is only let down by technical limitations.
Tony Stark's story may not be very interesting, but flying around as his alter ego in Marvel's Iron Man VR is still a lot of fun.
Iron Man VR is a good finale for the PS4's lifecycle of PS VR titles. While there are a few technical issues with Iron Man VR – mostly related to the Move controls – it's still a pretty enjoyable affair. Just gotta take it in small doses to make sure you get your VR legs first.
’d have to say that Iron Man VR is certainly a VR game worth playing – after all, it’s fun, and you really do feel like Iron Man. Fans of Tony Stark and his creations should definitely not let this slip by, as it will certainly spark joy within them.
When Iron Man VR tucks the player into Iron Man's armor in action moments, he is unrivaled. It is the closest we have been, as gamers, to putting ourselves in the shoes of a superhero. A very irregular rhythm, also cut by endless and excessively frequent loading screens, distances him from the excellent game that could have become. A wasted opportunity from which, even so, I will look forward to the second part if it occurs.

Move Controllers continue to age well-past their due date, but the game achieves its main goal. Iron Man VR makes you feel like a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist; you are Iron Man.
Though it has technical issues and an unoriginal story, Iron Man VR is a great game that could have delivered more from its iconic hero.

Fans of Marvel's character will enjoy impersonating Tony Stark's metallic alter-ego, thank to well crafted controls and compelling flying action. The game, though, soon becomes repetitive, graphics in the city is not very compelling and the scenes with Tony add little to the experience.
