Far Cry 6 Reviews
Far Cry 6 is two steps forward and a step back. The characters are brilliant, as is the work put into bringing them to life. Sadly, the game continues to be bogged down by more pointless content. The epitome of 'less is more'.
Far Cry 6 features a beautiful world filled with chaos, but it also fits the status quo for the series without putting its actors and tech to good use.
The problem is that after seeing the end credits, I did not fantasize at all where the creators would take me in the next installment. On the contrary, I had great hope that this was the last dictator to trouble the world, and the moment had finally come when I would be able to lay down my arms once and for all.

The game doesn’t fail—you’ll remember the hits far more than the swings and misses—but it’s easy to imagine the better one that isn’t too big for its britches.
Far Cry 6 isn't quite the powerful, cinematic experience that Ubisoft promised, but this flawed adventure is still great fun for open-world shooter fans.
Far Cry 6 managed to return the series to the same successful path of the past, which the company achieved with the third and fourth parts. It provided an enjoyable experience, great interaction with characters and a very good story that pulls the player to the end. But it got a little boring in the middle of the game, and I didn't feel that it had added something new to the series. However, if you are a fan of Far Cry, action games, first-person shooters, then Far Cry 6 will be a beautiful experience for you.

Far Cry 6 is ultimately a safe sequel that doesn’t aim to redefine what Far Cry is. However, it is still the well-tuned entry that does improve upon the formula in key areas, mainly the upgrade paths, gunplay, and cutscenes. It disappointingly doesn’t take that formula into a new direction or modernize it and can feel antiquated as a result, but it can still be mindlessly addictive even amongst its familiarity. Its narrative may posit revolution as the only possible answer, but its overall presentation posits that a solid evolution can still be quite effective.
So inasmuch as I’m certain of my opinion of “Far Cry 6′s” gameplay, I am not confident at all when it comes to the game’s story, of which, coincidentally, the franchise has repeatedly invited scrutiny. There are good performances and narrative beats that are compelling and trenchant. But less charitably, some of these moments evoke conversations you might find if you poke around on Twitter for a few minutes. The story invites reflection on questions that are unresolvable — and are likely to remain that way, “Far Cry 6′s” effort notwithstanding.
This is one of the best Far Cry of the past few years. By selecting the Far Cry 3's tropical environment combined with the lighter elements of the previous game, Ubisoft hits a home-run. If it was not for the limitations of the graphical engine, the game would've taken us to new highs. Fans of the series will love Far Cry 6 while neophytes will be hooked to the series.

With a gigantic open world filled with delightful distractions, Far Cry 6 is the strongest entry in the series and is a great example of evolving a popular franchise into something special.
Far Cry 6 is just another Far Cry game, one that desperately wants to utilize the imagery of a revolution without having anything meaningful to say about one.
Far Cry 6 has been very successful with both its gameplay and its story.

Far Cry 6 stands as a disappointment. As a political statement, it’s cruel, bleak, and simplistic. As a game, it’s rote, repetitive, and only surface-level innovative. As a hybrid of the two, it’s an outright disaster.
Personally, there are very few things that I do not like about Far Cry 6. There is so much to do and discover in this game. If you are a fan of Far Cry games, this is another great entry. If you are new, it is easy to jump in and connect with the new characters and story.
Far Cry 6 is a big, beautiful and bombastic game that gives you hours upon hours of fun and of course it has some shortcomings but at the end of the day it is exactly what you think a Far Cry title should be: a charismatic villain controlling a world on the verge of collapse with you as a kind of classic action hero trying to foil his schemes.

Far Cry 6’s fantastic story and core gameplay are some of the series best.
Ubisoft's new tropical adventure delivers dozens of hours of shooty fun, but little in the way of innovation or meaningful commentary
Whoever fell in love with Far Cry 5 (and especially New Dawn) will fall in love with Far Cry 6. The game offers more of the same – dozens of hours of pure run'n'gun fun in a giant open-world that will last for months. If you want to relax after a hard day, get the game. If you want anything more, stay away from it.

Far Cry 6 is an entertaining shooter, but it offers too much coolness instead of the necessary depth.
