Hyper Scape Reviews
There's plenty that's familiar about Ubisoft's belated entry into a bloated genre, but there's plenty that's quietly impressive too.
Hyper Scape is the epitome of an average submission to the battle-royale genre – a lukewarm outing that's likely to be forgotten fast
Hyper Scape has some great ideas for changing key features and mechanics in a battle royale game, but so far it doesn't come together into something satisfying.
The new Hyper Scape from Ubisoft is a decent battle royale that offers some good ideas, but has to deal with too many problems.

genuinely enjoy when a game can innovate meaningfully in this evermore cramped space. Hyper Scape brings a lot of concepts to the table that, in theory, I thought were interesting, but the execution… this ain’t it.
Hyper Scape has enormous promise and some cool gimmicks, but its core gameplay pales in comparison to its more popular cousins. If Ubisoft can address some of its issues, they might be able to craft a game worthy of your time.
Whilst Hyper Scape has some interesting ideas that make for fun and thrilling gameplay scenarios, the game does very little to stand out amongst its competitors. Although it is lacking in personality and lore, future updates could allow Hyper Scape to carve out an identity of its own. However, currently, it will do little to pull you away from your preferred battle royale game, and if you're not a fan of the genre, it won't make you a believer.
Hyper Scape is a polished and pretty battle royale, but it is also bland and generic from start to finish. In a market already saturated by free to play shooters to try, Hyper Scape should be an afterthought. It doesn't have the confidence or the personality of its competitors, and it's come onto the scene far too late. There's a lot to like about Hyper Scape, but you probably won't find yourself playing it for long.
Hyper Scape has promise, but it's just so infuriating to play due to poor aiming controls. Some don't seem to have a problem with it, as I see other PS4 players racking up kills all the time. Still, it's better to wait and play something else until this gets fixed.
Hyper Scape is a game that you'll probably want to like, but only the most forgiving players will be able to overcome its contradictory design.
Comparing with other battle-royale games, Hyper Scape is really fast. But at the end of the day, it doesn't unique and fun enough to impress me.

Hyper Scape is not a perfect Battle Royal, but it is a different and entertaining one. It can't replace the best games of the genre and has issues like lack of variety in customization, but If you are looking for an enjoying online game with power- ups and nice shooting, Hyper Scape worth a try.

It also comes to the market at a time where nearly everyone who’s interested in the genre has several games to play, is invested in a game’s ecosystem and is hardly looking for a new alternative. These are the reasons why Hyper Scape is struggling to find online buzz, not because it’s a bad game. It’s a high-octane, exciting and peculiar online shooter, but perhaps it’s not what players want right now. Ubisoft Montreal can certainly keep the game interesting by evolving the formula, and we certainly are curious to see where the game is going from here.
Hyper Scape is a decent game that brings something new to the table. Unfortunately, it is flawed with lazy game design, bugs and below-average optimization. On the other hand, the game is still fun and therefore probably something that you should try out.

Hyper Scape ultimately falls within that realm of forgettable mediocrity; a mid-level battle royale player that never quite hits the top 20 spot but isn’t the first one eliminated either.
There are a few elements that separate this battle royale from others but the battles tend to be repetitive, the weapons lackluster, and the map becomes stale quickly. Currently, with how Hyper Scape is structured, there’s little to keep me entertained.
Hyper Scale is an incredibly smooth, technical feat for the consoles that delivers a fast paced and exciting battle royale experience.
