Ary and The Secret of Seasons is one of those game that can beautifully engage players with its world and has the potential to entertains all people from any ages in an impressive way. But of course it doesn't mean that the game is flawless. Unfortunately, this game suffers from many technical issues which in many cases, will affect your progression in a specific level or dungeon. But putting this technical issues aside, Ary and the Secret of Seasons is a fascinating game that every fan if indie games must play!

An enjoyable platformer which would benefit from further development time

Ary and the Secret of Seasons has some inventive ideas with its puzzles but it lacks enjoyment in every other aspect of it.

But all of these positive aspects pale in front of the technical part that is severely lacking. As such I cannot recommend Ary and The Secret of Seasons until several patches have come out fixing the annoying issues of the game.

Exiin's first step as an indie studio is not as strong, but it doesnt disappoint either. Ary and the Secret of Seasons is full of new ideas, but the lack of time probably prevented the team from fully developing those ideas, and the result is an unpolished, rushed game that could have been much better.

Ary and the Secret of Seasons had a lot of potential, mainly for their inspirations. However, the final execution was horrible and appears to have been delivered in a hurry. It is not worth the investment with the current quality, but it may be that in the future they will be able to correct the dozens of flaws that hinder the fun and immersion.

A vibrant world full of enjoyable characters and high-quality voice acting take the edge off a game that's boring at the best of times and broken at the worst.

Ary can change seasons, but it is still not enough to keep you playing.

As a fan of classic 3D platformers, I found Ary and the Secret of Seasons to be a magical and beautiful game and it's great fun, too.

Ary and the Secret of Seasons is a game to love - its dungeons have deserved a prize. I never had so much fun with puzzles in videogame dungeons. The semi-open world, however, seems unfinished in comparison, which costs a lot of the charm.

Ary and the Secret of Seasons is a basic my-first-adventure, that rarely lifts itself above mediocrity. Turns out having the power of seasons can’t stop the game being a disappointing rainy day in summer when you’d planned to go to the beach.

The curiosity and enthusiasm that the game aroused in me have been totally buried under a sea of errors of the most diverse, from graphics or performance problems, to a terrible translation, which make you wonder if it makes sense to even release the title to the market in these terms.

Ary and the Secret of the Seasons is a good game, it presents a pleasant and entertaining story, with a nice and pleasant graphic section and enough variety in the puzzles to keep you entertained. Unfortunately it also has quite a few defects in playable sections as important as combat, or visuals such as the interface. Many of these problems can be solved over time, so it can be a great platformer. It is a game that I would recommend to fans of platforms like Banjo-Kazooie, Spyro, Ape Scape, etc., that is, colorful platforms, focused on a story with a good dose of humor. Ary and the Secret of the Seasons is available for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

Ary and the Secret of Seasons benefits mostly from its great puzzles, the main characters and Disney-like cutscenes. There are some minor issues in the controls, and on the technical side it's not literally close to current gen standard. But it is worth and fun to play, and this is what really matters.

Ary and the Secret of Seasons is a family-friendly adventure that is meant to remind you of some of the classic action-adventure platformer games from the '90s. It succeeds despite some clunky menu screens and repetitive combat due in part to the delightful main character. Plus, for the gamer-friendly price of $40 bucks, there is a full-size adventure to be had here.

In spite of its problems, there’s a good game buried beneath Ary and the Secret of Seasons‘ many technical bumps and bruises. Wielding the weather to solve its many clever brain-teasers can be as exhilarating as a thunderstorm in July. But these flashes of excitement are almost always bookended by moments of frustration thanks to the game’s shoddy optimization.

I had been looking forward to playing Ary and the Secret of Seasons since the game was announced. Unfortunately, I’m left feeling disappointed in the game. I do like the swapping of seasons mechanic to solve the puzzles. Once the game is updated and if the glitches are successfully removed I do think Ary and the Secret of Seasons would make a great family game for the whole family to play together. As the game is at the moment with its frequent framerate drops, stuttering and glitches which actually put you off playing the game. I can’t, in all honesty, recommended it as a fun and entertaining experience currently.

It’s by no means a perfect game, as it’s rife with bugs, glitches, and graphical issues, but it’s so charming that you won’t care about that before long. It has an engaging story, interesting characters, dynamic environments, and a unique gameplay system with the Seasonal Stones.

It offers some solid worldbuilding, a likeable lead, several funny moments, quality voice acting, and a few half-decent cutscenes for an indie title. Unfortunately, it seems it needed a few more seasons of its own before being anywhere near ready for release.
