Pikmin 3 was already a delightful and charming adventure on Wii U, and it has only gotten better with the jump to the Nintendo Switch. It was a pleasure to revisit this polished and relaxing experience, especially considering the several adjustments made to improve quality-of-life and to make it more gratifying to both newcomers and veterans. Couple that with a sizable dose of side content, Pikmin 3 Deluxe is an excellent addition to the Switch's expanding library and it's probably the Wii U port most deserving of the subtitle "Deluxe" since Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe brings this Wii U game back to Switch, and enhances some of its aspects. Pikmin 3 was a good game to begin with, and porting it to a new system was an amazing choice.

Although Nintendo didn’t choose to remaster Pikmin 3 for this rerelease, Pikmin 3 Deluxe is the same enjoyable experience with a couple of shrewd additions that add to its value. Worth a look if you’re a fan of the series, a fan of puzzle games in general, or just looking for a nice, relaxing co-op game.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a complete game you tend to get from Nintendo. The graphics got a good brush-up and the controls are adjusted. However, there are still some small issues the game works smoothly. Next to that, the game has some new missions and you can play the entire game in a worthy split-screen co-op. This is a must-buy for every Switch owner, just because of the great co-op mode.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is very close to being the definitive version of a modern classic. Now please, bring me more Pikmin adventures. I would like to visit more areas with these little plant aliens.
There's nothing quite like Pikmin, as it perfectly captures the same magic as Miyamoto's other masterpieces. While the Wii U itself was a sales disappointment, it hosted some absolutely wonderful titles that deserved a better home and it has been great to see them finally receive that with Nintendo's initiative to bring them to Switch. Pikmin 3 was already a superb game, and while this release is not a remaster, the extra elements added to Pikmin 3 Deluxe elevate it to something special. While the price point may be exclusionary for some, this is completely worth the asking price, even as a double-dip for those who already have it on Wii U. Perfect for families to play together, for friends to grab a Joy-Con each, or for solo play sessions to track down every badge and master the highest rank.
So Pikmin 3 isn't the massive game. It never has been. It wasn't on the Wii U, and it's no "bigger" on the Switch. What it is, however, is a load of fun, and the charm is irresistible. Have we had more impressive remasters of games that were, to be frank, more impressive in the first place? Sure, but Pikmin isn't meant to be "AAA" and it doesn't try to be. Whether you've played this game previously or not, it's still a charming delight.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe manages to outshine its predecessor with further polish and more content. The inclusion of new Side Stories, co-op in the main campaign, and debatably the best control scheme this game has yet seen all make Pikmin 3 Deluxe the definitive version to play.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a wonderful adventure, and even if you’ve fond memories of the game on Wii U, the new content makes it well worth returning to. While some issues that have shown up in previous titles are still present here, there’s nothing that ruins the fun of commanding your little army of Pikmin. Whether you’re a fan of the series or picking it up for the first time, there’s a lot to love here. With its extra content, co-op play and some truly excellent boss encounters, Pikmin 3 Deluxe might just be the best in the series.

The addition of two-player co-op is a game-changer if you have a gamer in your social bubble, and the feature elevates Pikmin 3 Deluxe over the original. Pikmin 3 remains a calm and relaxing game about walking through outdoor areas, collecting fruit, and sending hordes of adorable plant-men to their gruesome deaths. If you've ever wanted to try6 the series or if you liked the original Pikmin 3, Deluxe is the best way to experience the game.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is well-rounded and even more replayable than its original outing seven years ago; it’s a joy to experience, even if it’s your second time doing so. And with the ‘Ultra-spicy Mode’, seasoned Pikmin players should look forward to the new challenge that awaits. For newcomers, let’s just say you’re in for a magnificent treat. If you’ve never played a Pikmin game before now, stop what you’re doing and order yourself a copy. Your tiny but mighty army is waiting for you.
There are not too many action games with RTS elements out there. Other than Overlord or Little King’s Story, the only other options are the Pikmin games. While it may not have the benefit of the Wii remote anymore, Pikmin 3 Deluxe is still an excellent experience and is a fine port of an overlooked Wii U classic.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe represents the ultimate version of the title, and even though the experience is over way too quickly, the game is easily one of the Nintendo Switch's best titles, and a must-play for fans, new and old!
