We are facing the remake of the game that would mark a before and after, which would open the doors to an entire genre of its own

Demon’s Souls is everything I hoped, and a bit more. Combat is still precise, challenging and rewarding, and the world is as beautiful as it is bleak. With its new coat of paint and notable improvements to the game’s quality of life, this is without a doubt an ultimate Souls experience. It is mandatory for players who went through the original experience, as well as for those who passed it by. It’s a true next gen game, and a phenomenal start for the PlayStation 5!

I definitely recommend the game to all PS5 owners, ie about the thousandth that was the fastest when pre-orders. The game takes a recommendation from us for 9 points out of 10.

Demon's Souls is a breathtaking remake from Bluepoint Games. The studio injects new life into a timeless classic that offers PlayStation 5 owners an astounding, challenging game.
“Demon's Souls is a great remake of a certified classic.”
Demon's Souls is one of the best remakes and one of the best launch titles for any platform of all time. Just keep in mind that the game is as difficult as ever, although every success is rewarded by a strong sense of accomplishment.

Bluepoint once again offers us another impressive remake, perhaps its most ambitious proposal yet. With spectacular graphics, and the typical gameplay of the saga, perhaps it is missed a little that it has not tried to go beyond the original. Even so, an unmissable work that alone can justify the purchase of a PlayStation 5.

It may not be a brand new game, but even all these years later there still isn’t anything else quite like it.
I loved what Bluepoint has managed to achieve with the Playstation 5 remake of Demon’s Souls. This is, without a doubt, the prettiest the series has ever been, featuring gorgeous graphics and a buttery smooth framerate to die for. With that being said, this is a very faithful recreation of the 2009 original, meaning that most shortcomings related to that game’s overall level design are also featured in here.
“Demon’s Souls is an absolutely essential play and one that will be talked about for years to come”
Demon's Souls has managed to be a satisfying game in all aspects. With its renewed graphics, it fully embraces players who want to play again and who have not experienced it before.

Bluepoint Games have once again proven to be masters of their craft with the Demon's Souls remake. The visuals are jaw-dropping, making it feel like the most next-gen game out on the market. However, it does nothing to jeopardize the novelty of From Software's classic; instead, it simply enhances and improves the experience.
There is much to like and enjoy with Demon's Souls. As a remake, Bluepoint have brought a beloved classic to the future in a rather spectacular fashion. Despite a few technical niggles here and there, and disappointing integration with the DualSense controller, the game offers an otherwise exceptional experience. From the way levels must be tackled strategically, through to how gear must be chosen beforehand, knowing that everything has weight including curatives, is an added stress that players might not realise they wanted from their Soulslike games. Serving to make an already challenging experience even more rewarding, further inciting how this original title truly is the grandfather of all Soulslikes, and for good reason. The Demon's Souls remake is a masterful experience truly showcasing how its genre-bending tropes led to the creation of the Soulslike experience it is known as today.
Demon's Souls is easily one of the most significant games in modern gaming history books. FromSoftware invented an entire genre that has since been twisted and built upon from Dark Souls to Nioh and Hollow Knight. Bluepoint Games remake keeps everything that made the original release such a beloved property but injects a much-needed coat of paint.
Demon's Souls is a cult A-RPG’s remake that takes the lead as Sony's spearhead for this new generation. Being a very conservative title, in many cases excessive to have bad points, it has a wide variety of virtues, among which we highlight an excellent character editor, very well recreated npcs, unforgettable landscapes and a sublime soundtrack. A must for anyone who loves the saga, who likes challenges or who enjoys action RPGs.

If there’s one game to own on Day One for PS5, and you don’t mind dying a lot, Demon’s Souls is a must-have.
Demon’s Souls is an excellent game that will knock you down and challenge you to get back up in the best way possible.
Demon's Souls is an incredible retelling of a classic, and is no doubt an essential; if not a Game of the Year contender in 2020.
Despite everything, when all is said and done, Demon’s Souls is darn near perfect. For those who missed out on the PS3 title that started it all and those who waited the entire PS4 generation for a remaster, now is the time to enjoy.
