Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a triumph of a game, and now even more people can experience it. That experience may not be as stable as on PlayStation 5 given the diversity of hardware, however there's also a lot more under the hood than you'd get on a console. With all of that in tow, including gorgeous ray tracing and a glut of accessibility options, it's like Miles getting Venom abilities: more power to an already powerful entity. Just like Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered before it, Miles Morales makes the leap and sticks to the wall.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is thankfully not an origin story, as that was handled expertly in the previous game. So what we get here is a fun and exciting game that just jumps right in without the painfully slow ramp-up that other games fall victim to. Once again Insomniac offers a refreshing take on the open-world game that’s never dull to engage with any and all of its systems. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a massive achievement, showing that lightning can strike twice.

If you're a fan of Insomniac's original Spider-Man outing, or just want a thinner experience than the main game, you can do worse than Miles Morales. The PC port is outstanding in a lot of different ways, and yes, if you're on Steam Deck, you'll have a great time too.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a great standalone release, with the story being a bit compressed due to it being a smaller expansion upon a now growing universe.

Rather short but action-packed and full of exciting moments, Spider-Man: Miles Morales shows what PS5 hardware is capable of, and tells a fresh and different Spider-Man story.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a fun and well made spin-off that does not stray too far from the original PS4 game, and I can't wait for what Insomniac Games is able to do in their next game.

Perched atop the Empire State observing the snow-covered streets of Manhattan, I put the controller down and take it all in. So, this is what next-gen gaming is all about. The streets are alive with the hustle and bustle of downtown Manhattan. The visuals offer a crispness and clarity I have never seen before. And, there’s an affinity with the story that took hold from the off. As I dive off to protect the citizens of my city from the next crime in progress, it dawns on me.

The experience is further enhanced by a good story, even better side content, and solid combat – that does Miles justice as a great hero in his own right. At £49 the price is on the steeper side for the volume of the game’s content, but if you have the chance, this game is still a must play. I still can’t get over how amazing the haptic feedback is.

Thanks to its good gameplay and wonderful technical aspects, Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales is a funny product that people who love the spider-verse will appreciate. The longevity is not something particularly special, although we enjoyed every moment we spent into Insomniac Games and Miles Morales’ Manhattan.

2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man for PlayStation 4 was a really special game for me, as you might imagine for a guy who named his only child after Peter Parker. The Pete that we get in Spider-Man 2018 is one of my favourite interpretations of the character and I’ve been reading Amazing Spider-Man every single month for the past 20 years. It’s probably in my top 10 games of all time.

While not as long or immersive as its predecessor, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a strong entry in what promises to be an excellent franchise worthy of the Spider-Man name.

Although Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is only a spin-off, it still delivered a great multitude of high-quality content and features which makes this an almost perfect game.

Spider-Man Miles Morales is a wonderful introduction to the PlayStation 5. It checks all the boxes of showcasing the new consoles features. The game is heart-warming, fun, and impressive on all levels. If you bought a PlayStation 5, this game should be mandatory. While it is available on PS4, this version really shows what Sony’s new console is capable of, and I cannot wait for Insomniac’s next game in the series.

Spiderman Miles Morales is a great evolution from the original title. If you liked Marvel’s Spiderman you’ll feel right at home! The game manages to present some of the best features of the new Sony console, although it shows some dependence on being a multi generational title. Although presenting an experience that we would like to see somewhat more extended, Insomniac manages to present a set of quite captivating story and characters. The foundations for an upcoming title of our friendly neighborwood spiderman are in place, now the producer needs to risk evolving, just as he did in the original title. We will be waiting!

If Spider-Man was Insomniac's rebuttal to this titular hero's decaying status within games, Miles Morales is its claim that story opportunities beyond Peter Parker are also worthwhile.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a tighter, more concentrated Spider-Man video game experience that focuses so heavily on what makes the character great - regardless of who's in the suit.

I’m happy to say that Insomniac has impressed me in their ability to pull off such an entertaining title to kick off the next generation of gaming. Even if it isn’t that long, the fantastic gameplay and stunning visuals make this title shine. Maybe it’s just my love for Spider-Man, but Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has pushed the standard even higher. I can’t wait to see what’s next for this Miles and this Spider-Man universe.
