Deathloop is both unique and familiar, subverting time, gameplay and expectations in equal measure. A mystery worth solving and experience worth having, there is nothing on this planet quite like Deathloop

Deathloop is for detective nerds who just want to blow shit up. Each moment of this game offers some insane new plot twists and discoveries that further highlights how amazing the writing is. Players are rewarded through exploration, but at the cost that they could lose it all if they die in the process. It’s an experience that demands a keen eye and patience at times to unlock everything it has to offer, but at least the dumb enemies will rarely get in your way.

Deathloop is outstanding. It has taken the superb gameplay of Dishonored and reworked the story, time period, aesthetic and fun factor into a package much more palatable for the average gamer. The result is not only one of the best games this year, it's the best next-gen exclusive on any console. This is a must buy.

Deathloop is not only this year, but one of the most original and different productions we have come across recently. It is really enjoyable to see the map in different ways at different times of the day and to try to complete this big puzzle with the clues you find.

I had a great time with Deathloop and really enjoyed the experience overall. It’s fun, it’s stylish, it’s rewarding, and it’s a very good game which I hope we see more content (and sequels) for in the future.

It's boring to repeat the same thing, but Deathloop is not. The synergy of stories, actions, various hints and clues in the game makes it feel like an perfect blockbuster. However, enemies are too fool and multiplayer mode is little bit annoying.

Live, kill, die, repeat. Deathloop, as all looped in time stories do, manages to capture the very essence of the medium, its stylistic devices and thematic blueprints. Nowhere near masterpiece, it’s still swaggy, funky and constantly captivating experience with autothematic core. Don’t break the loop!

A concept that originally seems daunting, once you get into the central mechanic of Deathloop, it all makes sense. Be prepared to die again and again, remapping the same perpetual day out in a variety of different ways to hunt your targets. Arkane have refined their craft once more, delivering a densely packed world with so, so much to do. And as always, an insane variety in how to kill and look good doing it.

Deathloop is one of the year’s best games and you shouldn’t let the marketing fatigue fool you because Arkane has delivered quite a fresh take using one of the most saturated themes in today’s gaming market. Deathloop has some of the best ways to ease you into a complex world, waiting for you to walk until you can run, but at the same time treating you with enough respect to figure things out.

DEATHLOOP succeeds at the artistry of repetition with tight gameplay and the interplay between its systems. While the structure strays from what they’re known for, this is undeniably Arkane. In a lot of ways, this feels like a ‘Greatest Hits of Arkane’, offering a little something from all of their games. It’s a next-generation experience I won’t soon forget. I never tired of having to do the same kinds of things again and again. The loops are done are on your terms, giving you full agency. DEATHLOOP is the paragon of immersive sims, and standard bearer for the time loop sub-genre.

Deathloop is a good game that's just a little too afraid to fully take its hands off the wheel and let the player drive.

Deathloop has had great marketing and amazing trailers, but it delivers an experience that strongly divided opinion. The plot holds the attention and, despite the stagnation at certain moments, motivates us to continue the campaign to discover the whole truth about Blackreef. The idea of a time cycle is interesting in the first few hours, but it becomes a tiring or even tedious experience after a few hours.

Arkane adds another wonder to his resume. Deathloop gives a twist to the roguelike genre and does so with tremendous gameplay and very original mechanics that keep us glued to the screen. It is not a perfect game, it has small flaws that prevent it from reaching the maximum score, but it is undoubtedly a must have in every rule.
