Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Reviews
Gorgeous and endearing, Rift Apart is a supremely likable adventure and a solid port-but at this price, it's hard to recommend over more substantial experiences.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is a fantastic PS5 exclusive showpiece for the console's power, and a delightful adventure in its own right.
With Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Sony's charmers-in-chief deliver another lesson in laid-back, unpretentious fun.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart uses the power of the PS5 to put on a stunning display, highlighted by bombastic action, plenty of humor, and heart.
Rift Apart is a magnificent game, one that sets the series on a clear path forward. Wherever it goes next, Rivet has to be there.
The best Ratchet and Clank adventure yet, and a showcase for the power of the PS5.
It's as long as any other Ratchet game, but it feels like it flies by in a flash, and is a hard one to put down
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart earns its PS5 exclusivity
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart looks and plays better than ever thanks to new-generation hardware, but it's still the same lovable, goofy series at heart.
This is a full-fat, planet-hopping, mystery-filled adventure that PS5 owners will lap up and non-owners will resent not being able to play, perhaps through no lack of trying.
Those holding out for a showpiece title for their PS5 now have it.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the game you've been waiting for, filled with stunning visuals, magnificent gameplay, and so much more.
In vesting each weapon with the click and whir of a plaything, it gives you a way into the texture of its landscape, and before long you're swept up.
With Ratchet and Clank: A Dimension Apart Insomniac shows that the saga has only changed to lose its distinctive features, and although the gameplay has improved enormously, it carries design problems that were forgivable in a generation with far fewer resources, but not today

Ratchet and Clank’s wacky adventures is always a reliable recipe for a fun, exciting time out, and A Rift’s Apart brings that to the table by the bucketload. However, it’s hard to ignore the fact that the game could have been a lot more than what it is, with the new ingredients brought in by the whole dimension angle failing to give it the right amount of kick to reach its true potential. As such, the series' first outing on the PlayStation 5 is great but it doesn’t deviate too far from what the series has always done when it really could have.

A continuist sequel but that knows how to add what is necessary and incorporate new ideas. It's true that the greater breadth of its maps is not fully exploited and that wanting to make a longer game by repeating situations and enemies turn virtue into routine, but Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a great PS5 game, very fun and recommended.
