‎Mass Effect: Legendary Edition puts at the reach of every player the possibility to relive one of the most iconic trilogies in the video game industry. The process, however, is much more than just a 'rescue'; The set of technical improvements, additional content and the space magic of adventures make this an essential bet for every player who loves purer BioWare.‎

Mass Effect Legendary Edition are three great games given with numerous improvements, but you have to remember the most important – these are just remasters... And at the same time games that will allow you to experience an unforgettable adventure.

If you've never played a Mass Effect game before, you can consider purchasing the Legendary Edition an absolute no-brainer. If you fancy revisiting BioWare's seminal sci-fi saga (and frankly, why wouldn't you?), then, equally, Mass Effect Legendary Edition is essential. Bottom line: you need this.

Net of some flaws to solve, the BioWare remaster can certainly be said to be a success and the Legendary Edition is the best way to get back on the Normandy and enjoy one of the most beautiful sci-ing sagas in the video game world.

If you own an 8th or 9th generation console and haven’t had the opportunity to play any of the Mass Effect games, think no more – buying Legendary Edition is pretty much mandatory. It’s a terrific remaster. But if you prefer to play on a PC, you may hesitate with a purchase as the original trilogy is much, much cheaper.

Even with small issues, I have absolutely no trouble recommending Mass Effect: Legendary Edition to anyone looking for a good RPG, a good story, or just a good shooter. The effort put into the original Mass Effect is commendable, especially considering its age, and Mass Effect 2 and 3 are as great as before but with better visuals and the ease of access of all being on the same disk. Like the title says, this is a legendary trilogy, and it’s one that everyone should play.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is an extremely rich package (except for a small DLC pack and the multiplayer component of Mass Effect 3). Ignoring a few technical flaws, it successfully brings back one of the best gaming trilogies of all time, with many welcome technical and gameplay additions.

This three-games-in-one package is convenient, but I can't help thinking these games deserved to be remade separately over several years, ditching stuff that doesn't work like the minigames, reinstating cut content and filling gaps rather than just draping shinier skyboxes over them. Still, ME1 is better than it used to be. It's no longer tempting to skip straight to ME2, though once you leave the Citadel you should stick to the main questline and only do side missions when your squadmates ask. And play as a woman if you want to hear a really great voice performance.

Mass Effect trilogy feels as great as ever, but the tech side of things in Legendary Edition leaves plenty to be desired. Some of the changes are great, while others not so much. Hopefully a lot of troubles can be ironed out with more patches. But all in all, my return to the Mass Effect universe was a blast.

Though it shows its age in spots, Mass Effect is still as mesmerizing today as it ever was. The Legendary Edition is a fully-featured revival of one of gaming's greatest stories.

Net of some technical roughness, especially visible on old gen, and of the indisputable limitations of the engine used, which are also reflected in the actual extent of the interventions made on Mass Effect 2 and 3, the Legendary Edition represents an excellent opportunity to visit once again the wonderful universe modeled by the Edmonton team.

The original Mass Effect trilogy was already a masterpiece thanks to BioWare's fantastic work on storytelling, cinematic events, characters and more. The remastered version delivers the best version possible, with a great technical level and fully updated, featuring one of the best experiences in the history of video games.

While Mass Effect Legendary Edition isn't a spectacular remastering of a frankly superb trilogy, it does enough right to make it an essential collection. The original Mass Effect benefits most from the overhaul whilst retaining most of its scrappy charm, while Mass Effect 2 and 3 are generally better-looking versions of already great games. At the very least, it's a great excuse to visit or revisit one of gaming's greatest sagas.
