A fun game and concept with a specific audience. The issues with the brightness and layout knocked it down a few points. But the overall graphics and uniqueness still made MADiSON a fairly enjoyable experience.

Summary: MADiSON is an astounding success in the horror genre, especially for someone who doesn't play many horror games (me). The game was well put together and delivered on the spooks, however some puzzles are rough to figure out and could have been a little less obscure.

Although MADiSON is a good proposal that ends up drowned by its flaws, it is not a horror game that you should avoid either, since it has moments that are very worthwhile.

MADiSON is an immersive and terrifying first-person psychological horror game, featuring disturbing gameplay and an unsettling and compelling narrative. Solve puzzles, explore your surroundings, and most importantly, survive. You play as Luca and throughout your journey, you are haunted by Madison, a demon who is forcing you to continue a gory ritual started decades ago. She wants you to finish her sinister ceremony. Do you have the strength to resist?

MADiSON might get lost in the deluge of modern horror adventure games, but it stands out thanks to the unusually high puzzle difficulty and a well-told story.

As a Freshman offering, BLOODIOUS GAMES has delivered what I am sure will be a cult classic that adds them to my short list of favorite horror developers.

MADiSON is a great horror experience that will make your skin crawl, your heart pounding, and your eyes and ears begging to be covered. Developer Bloodious Games does an amazing job at building up tension through simple game mechanics and immersive environments. While some of the puzzles could use some tweaking, the game is still technically impressive and terrifying in all the right ways.

Imagine MADiSON akin to liking a nice picture that's out of focus: there's still a special attribute for genre fans to appreciate, but others will be put-off by the inconsistent craftsmanship.

If you're a fan of horror games that focus more on atmosphere and scares rather than combat, then MADiSON is a no-brainer. It's not the most original game and it mostly follows the lead of pioneers like the aforementioned Outlast or even Hideo Kojima's P.T, but that doesn't matter. What you've got here is an effective horror experience regardless, and one that you're going to enjoy from start to finish.

Undoubtedly dark and creepy, the survival horror of MADiSON can grab you but isn't perfect by any means

MADiSON is a genuinely terrifying psychological horror game and does its job very well, making it stand out in the genre on Nintendo's hybrid platform. Unfortunately, this is dragged down by the poor inventory system and unclear puzzle direction, causing far too much backtracking. Aside from these gripes, MADiSON expertly uses every tool at its disposal to unsettle you and create a horrifying experience I am keen to return to again.

Bloodius Games packs a mature work, visceral in its telling us about the slow descent into the abyss of human madness, framing Luke's journey as one of the darkest and most intriguing experiences in the horror landscape in recent years. MADiSON is a macabre dance of pure anguish and wonder, which, barring some smearing or abuse of cliché, is recommended for anyone looking for a mature and never trite horror experience.

When you're looking for a good psychological horror released in the last decade, Madison is more than a decent place to start. It surely has its cringy dialogue moments, but with a good pair of headphones, this game will make you scream like a baby, swear at every jumpscare and most of all you'll utterly hate instant cameras.

If compared to top survival horror games, MADiSON really doesn't have much to offer to even fit in the genre, let alone making any challenges, but as an action adventure game it offers some engaging puzzles and a great atmosphere.

‎MADiSON has an oppressive atmosphere and ingenious puzzles that keep the player in tension from start to finish. However, the Bloodious Games game abuses jumpscares and has technical problems that weigh down the experience.‎

MADiSON is an okay game if it didn't have everything it has behind it. This added to its bumpy PS4 version makes the road rough for it. Still, I don't advise against playing it to horror diehards.

MADiSON is a really nasty game in a positive way. It is frightening and manages to make you feel stuffy from the beginning to the end. With a Polaroid camera in your pocket you can find a way out of your grandfather's house. The jump scares work perfectly and are interspersed with an unpleasant sense of false security. With this, MADiSON manages to create an ideal horror atmosphere. You don't really want to play MADiSON at all, but you still want to try it.
