Hi-Fi Rush Reviews
Hi-Fi Rush cracks the rhythm-action genre wide open to deliver Tango Gameworks' most confident, stylish, and surprising project to date.
Hi-Fi Rush is a bet won by Tango Gameworks. Venturing into unknown terrain, the software house author of The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo brings a light-hearted, stylish and addictive experience to the Microsoft ecosystem.

One of the most joyous and fun gaming experiences we've had in a very long time, 'Hi-Fi Rush' combines the best of classics like 'Jet Set Radio', 'Space Channel 5', and 'Bayonetta' into a delectable package that simply can't be missed.
Tango Gameworks’ rhythm-based actioner is not only one of the most enjoyable games in years, it’s also one of the most stunningly beautiful, with fantastic music and beat-matching combat to boot. Hi-Fi Rush is, indeed, as its name suggests, a rush.
You can feel Shinjji Mikami's influence all over this one, it's got that Vanquish magic, that God Hand swagger and attitude, all wrapped up in a delightfully colourful world full of good time vibes that's put us in a properly positive mood over the past few days. More of this kind of thing please!
Hi Fi Rush is a surprise in every way: launch, gameplay, story, dubbing, performance... The first essential of 2023.

Hi-Fi RUSH is an absolute delight. A simple idea that could have been extremely difficult to correctly develop, Hi-Fi RUSH is a real joy to play. Here's hoping that there are many more brilliant surprises to come this year, as Hi-Fi RUSH sets a high bar.
There is nothing as contagious, fun and well-built as Hi-Fi Rush within the Xbox catalog. It's a must-have game.

Hi-Fi Rush’s combat is nuanced, responsive, and utilizes its musical conceit well to give it its own unique identity.
Hi-Fi Rush is an awesome rhythm-based adventure which looks stunning, feels great to play, and has some amazing music… what else could you want? Whilst I’ll admit that some of the explorative elements of the game didn’t hit the heights seen in the combat and world design, every other aspect of Hi-Fi Rush is just top notch. 2023 was already shaping up to be an exciting year for Xbox thanks to some upcoming high-profile releases, but it’s already started off with one hell of a bang with Hi-Fi Rush. I don’t know how they managed to keep the reveal (and the release) a secret, but Tango Gameworks Softworks have given Xbox fans a real treat with what is easily one of the console’s best exclusive releases.
Hi-Fi Rush is a testament to how developers with a pedigree in making a particular game can still create something different but still exceptional, if given the proper resources.
Even though it has flashes of games that came before, Hi-Fi Rush is a unique, masterful game that accomplishes everything it sets out to with plenty of style and charm to spare.
Hi-Fi Rush is what happens when Tango Gameworks unlocks its ancestor DNA, finding ways beyond the Resident Evil-ish production and remembering about Vietiful Joe and that early-2000 mood in video games. Is what happens when Devil May Cry finds about the iPod and the 1 dollar the track music, crafting a maybe little game but with a great rockstar attitude.

"Hi-Fi Rush is a perfect bit-sized roller coaster, the kind you want to ride again and again. No game is perfect, but Hi-Fi Rush manages to pack in extremely successful and unique gameplay, highly detailed cutscenes and art style, and the comfort of a Saturday morning cartoon's plot, characters, and humor into one awesome adventure that nobody saw coming. Hi-Fi Rush is an absolutely fantastic game and you should go play it right now."
As you can see, Hi-Fi RUSH has everything you need to become a title that many of us will remember over the years. If you are a fan of platform games, action games, or just like music and video games, you have to give Hi-Fi RUSH a try, I assure you that you will not regret it.

Hi–Fi Rush drums new life into the action genre with fun cartoon-like visuals, excellent music, rhythm-focused gameplay twists, and addictive melee combat.
Hi-Fi Rush is not only a great surprise for the whole Xbox audience, but also a strong contender for the Game of the Year. Tango Gameworks should definitely experiment more often.

Hi-Fi Rush is a harmonious cacophony of raunchy rock 'n' roll and character-driven action
Tango Gameworks made something special here. I think it is my favorite looking game of all time. And while there were a couple of things that I can critique, the whole package of this product is so compelling that I can’t help but recommend everyone at least try it. I don’t imagine that everybody will get into the combat, and some might find it too difficult given the rhythm mechanics, but you should at least see the opening and play through the initial tutorial. If Microsoft was hoping to make a statement by dropping this game out of nowhere, they did a bang up job. Ironically I’m not a huge fan of the name, but Hi-Fi Rush is a shoo-in for my personal top five titles of the year. You should play it.
