Ghostrunner 2 Reviews
Even though Ghostrunner 2 only expands and improves the ideas of the original game, its parkour and combat systems remain highly enjoyable. It's a very fun and challenging experience that will excite fans of challenging games and adrenaline, even though it's not perfect.

Ghostrunner 2 shines with its novelties, however, it sticks to the old formula of success. It has decent moments of inspiration, balanced with a familiar repetitive system. Challenging at its core, it returns even more frenetic, fun, and daring.

Overall, Ghostrunner II is a fun sequel that enhances the experience of a game that was already fun. However, removing all of this and stripping it down to the core mechanics of the game leaves you with a copy of the exact same game as before. Sure, there may have been a few additions and enhancements to the game, but whether this would be enough to compel you to buy the game is another story if you are after the game’s story though there is no doubt that you would want to buy and play this game. But if you were expecting something more out of it, then maybe you are better off playing another game.
Ghostrunner 2 doesn't try to win over those who disliked the first game, focusing instead on its hardcore fans who enjoy frenetic action with synthwave music in a cyberpunk setting. The late-arriving new features feel more like a version 1.5 than a true sequel.

Ghostrunner 2 is a game that refines the structure of the first chapter without going much further. Once again, we are faced with a system that makes trial and error its main mechanic, something that might turn some players' noses up. Compared to its predecessor, the motorbike sections breathe new life into the game and the narrative becomes more central, although it is not the main reason why you will want to buy the game. Those who loved the first chapter will immediately feel at home, while newcomers may find Ghostrunner 2 a challenging title that represents a total improvement on what they saw with the first chapter. In short, you can't change a winning team!

Ghostrunner II offers a unique experience still unmatched in the gaming scene. The movement and combat system provides the smooth and exciting spark we came to know in the first installment, but don't forget a few appropriate tweaks. The combination of movement, katana, and special abilities make the fights addictive and fun. Unfortunately, the developers didn't make do with perfectly designed corridor levels. Despite the appealing graphics and great audiovisuals, they had to rush into a semi-open world that didn't suit the game.

Ghostrunner II is a fun and addicting title offering a solid challenge. However, if you aren't looking for a challenge, just skip this game.

Like a cyberpunk human coming in for a couple of upgrades, Ghostrunner 2 is the first game with a few augmentations bolted to its body. Most of the new hardware its chosen to get is an improvement, but a couple of pieces weren’t really needed. There’s more focus on a story that isn’t very interesting and the experiment with open areas falls flat. However, the core mix of platforming and combat remains immensely satisfying and fun and the new bike sections are cool. Fans of the first game should be more than happy with this sequel.
Ghostrunner 2 is a game that entertained us, irritated us, but in the end the only feeling we were left with was the satisfaction of completing it.

In the end, Ghostrunner 2 isn't about the story, it's about action to the power of 1000. If you like cyberpunk atmospheres and gory action games like Doom, this is for you. You'll also need to be patient, as it takes a while to get used to the controls. Once you do, it's like butter in the pan, as they say. Finally, the developers offer us a revisited version of their Ghostrunner series, but don't reinvent the wheel. If you've never played the series, it's best to start with the 2nd, which is more complete. The story is less important in this type of game, and you won't miss much. So, are you ready to be a ghostrunner?

Bigger, Bigger and Badder: Ghostrunner 2 is an excellent title, expanding and enriching the original experience. Unfortunately, what suffers is the pacing, which does not remain as consistently high as in the first episode, especially in what is the central part of the work.

Ghostrunner is a wonderful autumn surprise. I only hope it receives its well-deserved praise and a good share of awards. Its problem, as explained at the beginning, is that it falls somewhere between indie games and triple-A titles. The injustice of being a spectacular double-A game.

One More Level returns with a sequel that builds on the good foundations of the original to build a game as demanding as it is solid and deep.

Ghostrunner 2 raises the bar. Without a doubt, the studio greatly improved the previous title and brought more and better. It's not perfect yet, but it's very close. I believe that the theme specifically created for this saga, combining the cyberpunk theme with the first-person platform style, has even more to offer. Let's hope Ghostrunner 3 comes, and adds even more innovations and original ideas, just like this second one did!

Ghostrunner 2 is a wonderful game thanks to its fantastic level design and dialled-in mechanics. Although we are experiencing a hectic period of the year in terms of game releases, I highly recommend giving it a try. Be prepared, however, to “git gud” or in my case, be rubbish and keep trying till you get lucky.
I wasn’t a believer at first, but Ghostrunner 2 won me over. Sure, the story’s forgettable, and the technical performance takes a hit here or there. But the combat is sharp, the platforming is sharper, and there are quite a few surprises lying in wait. (I’m intentionally not spoiling one of the game’s coolest gameplay twists, but trust me: It rocks.) If you have room on your 2023 gaming plate for one more adventure, and you’re ready to grind through the pain, Ghostrunner 2 is well worth your time.
Ghostrunner 2 is an exceptional game, and its weaknesses shouldn’t stop fans of the genre from checking it out.
