Arizona Sunshine 2 is an A-grade VR shooter with a B-movie plot. The main character isn’t that loveable, but the gunplay sure is. It’s worth playing for the action alone—you just might cringe every now and then.
An absolute blast from start to finish, Arizona Sunshine 2 outdoes its predecessor in every way, and that's high praise indeed.
Despite some technical letdowns, Arizona Sunshine 2 is still a joyous celebration of zombie brain-bashing. It features some of the best VR shooting on the market, with a reload mechanic that is incredibly satisfying and really brings to light what makes the platform so great in the first place. Arizona Sunshine 2 has its flaws, but it's still a competent VR shooter game that gives players a great deal of freedom when it comes to interacting with the game world. Killing zombies is perfectly functional, and the combat can be fun, though it's best experienced in short bursts. That being said, it's head and shoulders above the first Arizona Sunshine game, and an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a new VR shooter to play despite its shortcomings.

Arizona Sunshine II is a great VR experience with a simple but heartfelt narrative and fluid gunplay that feels very natural with the VR controllers. The game does feature a variety of bugs, but this doesn’t stop it from being an enjoyable thrill ride!
Arizona Sunshine 2 is a bloody, pulpy and, most importantly, meaty experience that turns undead dismemberment from a somewhat dated trope into a fun workout that gives you more than enough toys to play with. And with a loyal pup at your side, this sequel is not only a blast but it feels like the killer app the platform has been needing.

Arizona Sunshine 2 is the closest VR has come to a popcorn action flick, and I found myself loving it for that. It's more than a little rowdy, and a tad rough around the edges, but it also offers some of the most delightful interactive elements of any Quest 3 game I've played so far.
Despite the many technical issues Arizona Sunshine 2 is still a good game for VR gamers. There's really nothing like wandering around a zombie wasteland with your pet dog, but you may want to wait until a patch or two has been released to fix the bigger problems.
You'll have a good enough time with Arizona Sunshine 2, but for the sequel to one of VR's greatest, it's hard to walk away without feeling like it could've been something more.
Arizona Sunshine 2 is a thrilling zombie escapade that easily stands out as one of the best titles available on PlayStation VR 2 right now. It improves upon the original in just about every way, whilst new additions such as the realistic reloading, your canine companion, and the co-op gameplay help make it even more exciting and immersive to play. Sure, it does have a few missteps here and there, but they’re minor issues in what is otherwise another brilliant release from the team at Vertigo Games.
Vertigo Games has a strong zombie slaying VR title on their hands with Arizona Sunshine 2. It doesn't elevate the genre in any notable ways, reminding us that the initial entry led the charge in a much different VR landscape than we are looking at today, but it still manages to keep the fun factor intact. It may not be a massive evolution over its 2016 predecessor, but it still maintains an alluring experience (one that is improved by Buddy's presence).
Arizona Sunshine 2 is exactly what you expected, the classic "bigger and better" sequel that improves and expands on what was good about the previous title.
