Arizona Sunshine 2 keeps the pressure on for a long campaign of zombie slaying full of satisfyingly gory head shots, entertaining humor, and the bond between a lonely man and his dog.

Vertigo Games fine-tunes its zombie-slaying power fantasy with more weapons, better set pieces, and man's best friend.

Despite the many technical issues Arizona Sunshine 2 is still a good game for VR gamers. There's really nothing like wandering around a zombie wasteland with your pet dog, but you may want to wait until a patch or two has been released to fix the bigger problems.

Arizona Sunshine 2 convinces with its mindless action, silly humor, and the relationship between Buddy and the protagonist. It may not innovate, it may have technical flaws and all its tricks have been seen before, but what it does, it does in a very entertaining way: it's almost impossible to get bored with it.

Arizona Sunshine II is the classic sequel that takes everything good offered by its predecessor, improves and expands on it. There is still some roughness in the controls and the game is very linear, but if you are only interested in killing zombies with a visor on your head, you won't find better in VR market.

You'll have a good enough time with Arizona Sunshine 2, but for the sequel to one of VR's greatest, it's hard to walk away without feeling like it could've been something more.

Arizona Sunshine 2 doesn't reinvent the genre, but that doesn't mean gunning down waves of zombies with your pooch isn't a ton of fun.

Arizona Sunshine 2 has its flaws, but it's still a competent VR shooter game that gives players a great deal of freedom when it comes to interacting with the game world. Killing zombies is perfectly functional, and the combat can be fun, though it's best experienced in short bursts. That being said, it's head and shoulders above the first Arizona Sunshine game, and an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a new VR shooter to play despite its shortcomings.

An absolute blast from start to finish, Arizona Sunshine 2 outdoes its predecessor in every way, and that's high praise indeed.

Arizona Sunshine 2 might not be the groundbreaking landmark the first game was, but improved gunplay, a fun companion, and rapid-fire jokes make this a ride well worth taking. Often tense, always fun, and sometimes emotionally impactful, Arizona Sunshine feels like big-budget entertainment. Just play by yourself the first time so your friend doesn't chatter through all the good stuff.

A good zombie slayer, heir to one of the first games of the genre in virtual reality. Arizona Sunshine 2 uses some references – dog à la Fallout, TLoU-style zombie mutations, mainly – to increase the fun and game solutions. It's a shame for a visual design that took into account the all-in-one versions of the game, especially in outdoor scenarios, and the graphic limitations are also felt on PS VR2 and PC. Better show, but not as much as it could have been.

Arizona Sunshine 2 improves on every aspect of the original to make this one of the best zombie games on the PSVR 2. The weapons have never felt better and make mowing down enemies a thrill. Although the horde mode is a little basic and you’ll encounter the odd glitch, the fact you can play everything with a friend improves the entire experience. With its dark humor and well-designed world, you’ll have a sadistic time annihilating foes on your trek through a post-apocalyptic world.

Despite some technical letdowns, Arizona Sunshine 2 is still a joyous celebration of zombie brain-bashing. It features some of the best VR shooting on the market, with a reload mechanic that is incredibly satisfying and really brings to light what makes the platform so great in the first place. As a sequel, it improves graphically, narratively, and just controls a whole lot better. With a solid campaign offering, various difficulties, and a horde mode with more maps to come, Arizona Sunshine 2 is the full VR package - and an absolute must-buy for PSVR2 players.

Arizona Sunshine 2 is exactly what you expected, the classic "bigger and better" sequel that improves and expands on what was good about the previous title.

Arizona Sunshine 2 is a bloody, pulpy and, most importantly, meaty experience that turns undead dismemberment from a somewhat dated trope into a fun workout that gives you more than enough toys to play with. And with a loyal pup at your side, this sequel is not only a blast but it feels like the killer app the platform has been needing.

Arizona Sunshine 2 is an A-grade VR shooter with a B-movie plot. The main character isn’t that loveable, but the gunplay sure is. It’s worth playing for the action alone—you just might cringe every now and then.

Arizona Sunshine 2 is a fun game that I would recommend to anyone who wants a good campaign driven zombie game. Sure, the new additions may not be revolutionary, but they are certainly a step up from the first game.

Great sequel with many improvements. Your canine company 'buddy' is both adorable and useful in combat and solving puzzles. You're fitted out with a wide range of guns and the occasional melee weapon, but their usefulness is limited - as is your storage for them. Focus is clearly still on shooting Freddies. The improved reload-mechanism adds a new source of anxiety, especially when you fumble with Freddies approaching. There are a couple of technical hickups, but they don't stand in the way of fun.
