Zombie Vikings Reviews
Some games are enjoyable, despite their problems. Zombie vikings is absolutely one of those. A game with lots of good points (like art style and gameplay mechanics), and also few issues (like repetition). In the end i must say that Zombie vikings is a fun and beautiful game that is worth your time to try.

Zombie Vikings is a game that will either make you throw up or fall in love. It's grotesque and hilarious and exactly those two miexed with the setting can be polarising. Want to see Thor loose an eye and worm lord praise you for expanding his family and them realising how costly it is? Well... Here you go.

Normally I love weird mashups too, but Vikings, zombies, surf culture, and modern references is just too much to jam in one box.
Zombie Vikings is a fun game for the first few hours. It is a joy to look at as the art style is, as expected from Zoink! Games, stunning. Sadly the story wasn’t exciting enough to keep me gripped and the jokes always fell flat, which was a shame.
Zombie Vikings is better than most Indie games on the market right now and that’s saying a lot. That being said, the game is hilarious and the artistic touch on each prerendered background is simply beautiful.
Zombie Vikings takes an interesting premise and a beautiful art style and squanders them alongside a bulk of other issues.
Zombie Vikings is a hack and slash with a very particular style and with a surreal sense of humor, but perfectly fits in the game. We have to take control of one of the 4 Vikings Zombies and we will have to search the eye of Odin that has been stolen by the god Loki. Play it alone or in company with a fun cooperative mode and feed yourself from brains.

Zombie Vikings is one tremendous game, one of the main pillars is the visual design and perfectly made characters. Everything is overflown by incredible humor, making it a funny and fun experience for all players. Zombie Vikings is a must have game for co-op players, you simply need it in your game collection!
Zoink! is back and they have done it once again. You may remember their hit creation Stick it to The Man!, which in my opinion was awesome. Zombie Vikings brings that lovable art style and humor back. The artwork and graphics were amazingly detailed, creative and cartoonish. The cutscenes make me feel like it’s Saturday morning cartoons and brings me to my happy childhood place. There is just a quality to Zoink!’s work that goes above and beyond.
Zombie Vikings is basic brawler, but it's a basic brawler done right, and is quite funny in the process. And, really, that's all most people are looking for from this genre. There are far better examples out there of it, but as a Sunday afternoon killer, this one is nonetheless almost as worthy as Thor himself.
Zombie Vikings is an experience that would've been better if the bugs had been cleaned up and there were more meat to the gameplay. Nevertheless, what's here is pretty enjoyable. The presentation is different but inviting, while the humor hits more often than it misses. Though the gameplay can feel repetitive, the amount of content is great for brawling fans who love local co-op play or can organize themselves for some online. Though other games are better, Zombie Vikings is still worth checking out.
Zombie Vikings is a solid brawler but it's a game that's more style over substance. The amusingly over the top plot can is good fun and while playing single player it can be key to pulling you through some of the repetition. The lack of variety and frustrating little glitches unfortunately give the game an unfinished feel but with a good group of friends it can still be good for a laugh.
Zombie Vikings is a good game to play with a larger group, swapping controllers based on performance and trying to use wit and superior skill to get the best rewards for one's character.
Coming back from its success of Stick it to the Man, Zoink has created something that is equally as zany and arguably funnier. Whilst it may have suffered from some minor issues at launch, Zombie Vikings has found its footing on the PlayStation Store and is a highly enjoyable co-op brawler, including some top-notch voice acting and writing!
Zombie Vikings is a charmingly designed beat-'em-up, but it's ultimately a fairly shallow one. It's fine for a multiplayer laugh, and even single player has its moments thanks to the humorous plot, but it's only likely to amuse you once, before you leave it on your hard drive waiting to rot.
Arcade brawler fans take note: grab a Viking helmet, some beer of root, your closet PS4 controller, and get to munching on some brains.
Zombie Vikings is most definitely one of the best indie games I've played through 2015, and I would highly recommend it. It's a vast improvement on what was a similar-looking yet exemplary game in it's own right, and it makes me excited for what Zoink have in stall in the future.
If Rayman Origins and Broken Age had a baby this is what I would expect it to look like… you know… if it also got slightly mutated and had Rayman questioning whether he was the father
I'm a huge fan of the beat-'em-up genre. It can be rather repetitive, but typically that can be overlooked as the games tend to be rather short. Zombie Vikings, however, overstays its welcome and starts to get rather monotonous around halfway through. While it tries to throw in some interesting levels and boss fights, those mostly end up falling flat, just like the humor. On top of all that, the game is buggy with screen-tearing issues, subtitles not working properly, and glitches preventing levels from being completed.
