Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Reviews
Indiana Jones makes a triumphant return in the Great Circle thanks to a stellar cast, good puzzles, gameplay variety, attention to detail, and solid technical performance. It is a must play for fans of the whip-cracking hero, and adventure gamers.
There are some issues, but Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does everything it needs to for me as a fan and as a gamer. However, one major bug keeps it from a perfect score in my eyes.
With the majority of first-person games being rubbish, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is an incredible surprise. With the team behind Wolfenstein, it really shouldn't have been. An incredibly fun experience from start to finish with a fantastic story, beautiful environments, taxing puzzles and a fantastic score Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is the definitive Indy experience in gaming and, dare I say, all media? (no).
Other than some repetitiveness towards the end of the experience, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is Machine Games' best and finest project, combining the freedom of semi-open-world design with the spirit of adventure and action in a story of a very high level. The game's journey with its characters is a love letter to all story game lovers

It's more than a game. It is a film in which you play the leading role of the most popular archaeologist from TV and cinema screens. The combination of these two genres is astonishing and perfectly coordinated. You'll travel around the world with Dr Jones, and although this expedition has some minor flaws, it's a truly epic experience.

MachineGames, with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, has paid a full and commendable tribute to the Indiana Jones series. It has set a new standard not only among action-adventure games but for all AAA games. This game is a rich experience of all the artistic pleasures that thrill and captivate the gamer.

MachineGames has managed to create one of the best cinematic adaptations in the video game world without imitating modern adventure works. While the experience could have received more polish, the elements of the classic films are well presented in a video game format that will satisfy both die-hard fans of the legendary Dr. Jones and appeal to new audiences.

Instead of following trends or the logical path, MachineGames took what it does best and injected what makes Indiana Jones such a beloved series. It grabs you and delivers a sense of adventure so good, it's easy to forget all its problems.

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle goes to show that MachineGames has an eye for fortune and glory. Not only is this title another great addition to Xbox Game Pass, it’s an absolute must for fans of the infamous Indy.
Adventure! Enjoyable, a little banal, sometimes predictable, but Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a very positive surprise. Simply a great game.

Despite my gripes on sudden shifts to third-person, its plethora of animation bugs and glitches, and meager optimization on PC, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle shows a lot of respect to its source material. With its incredible voice-over team especially Troy Baker's amazing performance and portrayal of Indiana Jones, the stunning musical score that captures the essence of John Williams' work, the staggering locations, and the adequate story, it's an authentic Indiana Jones adventure you'll surely enjoy.
MachineGames has proven itself fully capable of taking on Dr. Jones, crafting a beautiful adventure filled with intrigue, ancient ruins, puzzles to solve, and even a bit of action.

Let there be no doubt about it: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is an absolutely brilliant game that everyone should play. However, I would advise against playing it on a Nintendo Switch 2 console. Because the game runs at just 30 fps and the graphics have been significantly scaled back, it doesn’t feel like a modern game. On PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, this game really comes into its own and you can experience it as it should be. If you use your Nintendo Switch 2 console exclusively in handheld mode and/or couldn’t care less about frame rates, then I can recommend the game.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle underscores the Nintendo Switch 2’s unique standing among Nintendo consoles: it’s the home of ambitious blockbusters from partner studios—games that are a lot of fun to play and capable of delivering surprises whether you’re playing on the TV or holding the console in your hands.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle arrives on the Switch 2 in a surprisingly well-made port that, despite one or two performance issues in more open environments, proves that the Nintendo platform does indeed have enough power to render current-generation experiences with quality. As a result, this journey worthy of one of cinema's greatest icons is also highly recommended in its Nintendo version.

The arrival of *Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle* on Switch 2 brings with it all the magic and adventure of the original MachineGames title, but at a high cost. While the blend of exploration, puzzles, and action remains rock-solid and perfectly in line with the spirit of the films, the port suffers from significant technical compromises. Between frame rate drops, pop-ins, and obvious visual compromises, the game struggles to maintain stability, especially during the most chaotic moments and when playing in Dock mode. Setting aside the stealth AI, which isn’t always brilliant, it remains a great adventure, but purchasing it is recommended only if the Nintendo ecosystem is your sole gaming platform; otherwise, look elsewhere to enjoy the game in all its glory.

Indiana Jones on Nintendo Switch 2 delivers the ultimate action-adventure experience with its deep exploration system and versatile combat that masterfully blends the whip with firearms. This technical marvel, even with the future implementation of gyroscope and mouse mode, already makes us feel like the legendary whip is truly in our hands.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle isn’t just another dose of leftovers on the Switch 2. This is a fantastic port of an already exceptional game that makes use of the Switch 2’s unique features and still looks great even in handheld mode. If you haven’t yet had the chance to take this adventure on, then this is an absolutely fantastic way to do so.
