Indiana Jones and the Great Circle hits the exact spot with a whip-cracking precision, even if the fascist enemies are a bit one note. Troy Baker’s performance is incredible, which only furthers the game’s focus on immersion and exploration. MachineGames has more than proven just how incredible a first-person Indiana Jones game can be without sacrificing that tender and earnest aspect of the films. Fans will certainly appreciate this new era.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a revitalization of the franchise, featuring an engaging narrative set in 1937, where Indy faces off against Nazis to protect the mystical artifact known as the Great Circle. With stunning graphics, rich exploration, and challenging puzzles, the game blends nostalgia and innovation. Despite shortcomings in melee combat, the first-person perspective and stealth mode stand out. Available on Game Pass, it’s a must-play experience for adventure fans.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is an absolute Indy classic that perfectly sits itself between Raiders and Crusade for the best Indy adventures. MachineGames stays 100% faithful to Indiana Jones and for some that may be good or bad. For me, this is exactly what I wanted in an Indiana Jones adventure, and while I would like maybe a bit more fleshed out combat, and some smarter AI, I couldn’t ask for a better world trotting adventure.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has brilliantly revived an old franchise and introduced a new generation to just how cool the legendary archaeologist truly was and still is. The game captures all the recognizable qualities of the classic films and instantly claims its place as a worthy successor.

The comparison to the good Indiana Jones movies is the biggest win for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

After Fate of Atlantis, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is perhaps the best adaptation of the beloved hero on our screens.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle captures the classic Indiana Jones vibe with its puzzles, historical locations, and strong script, though it struggles with NPC issues.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is the best story Indy has seen in over thirty years and with excellent graphics and impressive gameplay mechanics to accompany it, this is a must play.
Indiana Jones And The Great Circle is one of the most sincere and wholehearted love letters the gaming industry has ever done to the film one. MachineGames has managed to craft an experience that is both very faithful to the original and compelling to play: it's unexpectedly deep and narratively entertaining, so much that it's easy to forgive its many technical shortcomings.

In conclusion, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is not only a brilliant homage to the legacy of cinema's most famous archaeologist, but also a great first-person adventure game. MachineGames has managed to capture the essence of the franchise, offering an experience that combines action, clever puzzles, and an immersive narrative. Although it is not free from minor technical flaws, its gameplay and narrative make it a must-play for Indiana Jones fans and adventure game lovers.

MachineGames understood really well the base material to make Indiana Jones and the Great Circle not only a great game by itself, but also an extra chapter that complements the franchise history. I believe this is a very welcome entrypoint for those who don't know the doctor's escapades, and who can get its influences while experiencing a gameplay worth of the best Wolfenstein titles by the developer.

Despite minor gameplay flaws, MachineGames' new video game delivers a consistently enjoyable experience. It captivates players with its story, characters, atmosphere, and gameplay. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a remarkable tribute to a film saga over 40 years old and, without a doubt, the best thing featuring the world's most famous archaeologist since the original film trilogy.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was a marvel of an adaptation, as much fun to watch as it was to play and listen to. The gameplay has its issues, like the combat and the excessive effort required to use certain items, and there are those weird perspective transitions. But everything is done with such care, and with such honor to the original work, that it's easy to forget about it.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is the incredible action-adventure game fans have been waiting for. It is, without a doubt, my favorite game of 2024. It was expected that this game would be good, but it did not deliver what would ultimately be a flawless and authentic Indiana Jones experience.
Quite simply, I love Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. It is, quite possibly, my favourite game of the year or - at the very least - right up there.
The game cracks along at a fair pace thanks to a smart, funny script and top performances from Alessandra Mastronardi as sidekick Gina, the late Tony Todd as mysterious foe Locus, and a scenery chewing, lip-curling turn by Marios Gavrilis as Nazi boss Emmerich Voss. This is a triumphant adaptation of the beloved franchise, and here's hoping it heralds an exciting new era for Indiana Jones.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is an adventure game that manages to bring flair while trying to fit into a genre that is pretty stacked. It steers clear of being an Uncharted clone and instead delivers a unique, fun experience. From leaping between planes to hilariously outwitting enemies with a whip, the game captures the essence of what makes Indiana Jones such an icon.
A must have for all Indy fans, a highly enjoyable title for all other players. Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle asserts itself as the current best exclusive (temporal) from Microsoft and as the title to play and to give as a gift for Christmas 2024, or at least to try on the Microsoft Game Pass.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is one of the best adventure games of recent memory because it truly captures that sense of "adventure." Minor niggles concerning inventory management and story pacing don't deter from the solid gameplay, the intriguing story as a whole, and the immersive environments making you feel like you are playing an Indiana Jones movie. The solid voice acting is a cherry on top. As for how the game runs on the Steam Deck, well it's up to you whether it is "playable" or not. I did find it playable and enjoyable. The image is quite blurry, but I didn't find that it hindered playing the game; having said that, it's understandable if those visuals offend your eyes. But if you want to play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and a Steam Deck is all you have, it is an option to play it. I would just recommend you use a desktop instead if possible.
