Lara Croft Go Reviews
Slick, beautiful, gently challenging and supremely well designed, it’s a stunning piece of work. Oh, and I need to make sure to remember to mention the music – ambient gorgeousness, which you can hear here. Sometimes I get annoyed with a puzzle, have to walk away for a bit, but when I come back I wonder what I was thinking. Perhaps that sort of approach is more suited to a phone, but this remains a game that plays very well on PC, and looks utterly stunning in its conversion.
A great puzle game that manages to do well almost everything but, at the same time, keep being the same thing that was on mobile platforms.

While it would be easy to dismiss the GO series as another mobile game cash grab of a recognizable franchise, it's definitely much more than that.
If you couldn’t tell from my last bit of criticism, I am legitimately grasping at straws when trying to find negative aspects of Lara Croft GO. In a year that has been jam-packed with quality releases, this is an experience that can hold its own. You genuinely owe it to yourself to give this game a try, regardless of whether or not you are a Tomb Raider fan. It is just that good. And when you consider that the game costs less than a ten spot, this purchase should be a no-brainer. Give Lara a chance and you will not be disappointed.
The reverence for the series’ past in both gameplay and the attention to the smaller details is what ultimately makes Lara Croft GO a love letter to the 20-year-old Tomb Raider series. It offers even more of what the original game did last year and with the added benefits of more powerful hardware, making this a no-brainer for PlayStation gamers.
Lara Croft GO is beautiful to look at, has thought-provoking puzzles, and most importantly, is super fun to play.
On the whole, we could not recommend Lara Croft Go enough. Performance issues with the Vita port notwithstanding, this is a near flawless game that exemplifies an attention to detail seldom seen in gaming nowadays. Charming visuals, rewarding and challenging gameplay, and a lot of replayability make this a must have purchase. If you're looking for something that's high quality while also doing something a little different, look no further than Lara Croft Go.
Lara Croft GO is that rarest of beasts; a puzzle effort that not only elegantly distills the core essence of the franchise with which it shares its namesake, but one which is equally at home on PS4 as it is on PS Vita. There's no getting around it; this is one of the best puzzlers of the year.
Lara Croft Go is an exciting entry in the series, with obvious blemishes. They don't outweigh the good stuff, but they do prevent it from being as good, which is a shame, because it's one of the best puzzle games of 2016, and it could be argued it's the best on the PS Vita this year. Still, with long load times and testy controls, it feels like the price of entry to this deep and exciting puzzle title could be a bit too high to call it a must-have title for anyone who hasn't experienced Square Enix's Go franchise just yet.
Square Enix Montreal is doing great things with the Go series, and the studio will be making plenty of people happy if it can continue to add to it, hopefully with another puzzle quest for Lara to overcome in the future.
The successor to 'Hitman GO' manages to perfectly mesh what made that game a mobile hit and what players love about the 'Tomb Raider' series. It's due to this that 'Lara Croft GO' has its own unique identity.
Square Enix Montreal continues to do an excellent job of translating their mobile GO games to console. Lara Croft GO has even better gameplay than Hitman GO did and it’s jam packed with content thanks to the PlayStation exclusive expansion. Lara Croft GO takes some of the best things about the Tomb Raider franchise and turns it into a great puzzle game worthy of anyone’s time.
Lara Croft GO is a brief, intelligent, relic-hunting, snake-shooting, boulder-bypassing, turn-based puzzler.
Despite its inferior controls, Lara Croft GO on PlayStation is still a very pleasant experience.
Lara Croft Go captures the original essence of the Tomb Raider games, filling each new chapter with a sense of adventure and mystery. If you’re more a fan of the action saturated gameplay found in the reboot series from Crystal Dynamics then this game won’t cater to your taste.
Lara Croft GO enhances the interesting game concept that was introduced by Hitman GO and takes it one step further.

An excellent small puzzle game staring everyone’s favorite tomb raider. Great puzzles, really clever designs and a solid game. Perfect for a couple bucks and well worth playing for many hours.
Lara Croft go has a lot of style going for it thanks to its art design and atmospheric music. The puzzles did wear thin but the mechanics were interesting enough to leave me satisfied.
The definitive edition of a classic, bogged down by technical hiccups and rebellious controls
