Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a nice conclusion to the Kaldwin era of the franchise, enjoyable not only by the fans that have been with the franchise from the very beginning, but also by new players.

Death of the Outsider keeps enough of what makes you love Dishonored in the first place, while a new protagonist and power set keep things fresh and exciting to explore and discover.

While the Death of the Outsider opens up immediately and feels familiar yet refreshing without chaos holding back from how you really want to play. Now, traversing familiar areas does get tiresome but its short enough that it doesn’t overstay its welcome. I don’t know where the series goes from here, but if it’s done, that’s a shame because the contracts make this game. The story is short and interesting all its own, but the contracts really explored what you can do in the world of Dishonored with its freedom and power.

'Dishonored: Death of the Outsider' brings to close a chapter of one of the best first-person stealth series of recent year. It utilizes the same deep and experiment-enticing gameplay that fans have come to expect from Arkane Studios. Fans of the series will find themselves engaged by the story and the consequences of Billie's actions throughout the campaign.

Everything that makes Dishonored great is distilled into a handful of brilliant, extensive missions that will take hours each to enjoy.

Without changing the foundations of the franchise, Dishonored: Death of the Outsiders plunges us successfully into a thrilling adventure. Arkane Studios' newest chapter is more about the action than the stealth infiltration formula this time, which can get some people out of their comfort zones, but once used ot it, will enjoy the deadly possibilities of killing your enemies.

Death of the Outsider is a fun few hours for those who enjoy the series, but its lack of real character progression and assassination targets make its 5 missions feel much longer than they are.

The smoothness of gameplay mechanics linked to stealth sessions, extraordinary level design, a concise story, original character skills and the ability to extend title longevity with Contracts and the “Original Game Plus” mode makes Dishonored: Death of the Outsider an indispensable purchase for those who have always followed this series

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider delivers more of what players expect from the Dishonored series: a fantastic amalgamation of tense stealth segments, all-out action-packed combat, and some incredibly well designed environments to explore. It manages to introduce some clever ideas of its own too, ensuring that series veterans will find themselves tested by the trials that Billie faces on her journey. That being said, there isn’t as much flexibility in how much you can expand on Billie’s powers as there has been in previous games, though it doesn’t really hinder the experience in any shape or form – there’s still almost endless possibilities in how you decide to play the game. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider offers another stunning adventure that not only lives up to the high standards of the series, but also does it at a cut-price. It’s a must play title that fans of action-packed stealth adventures simply need to check out – just try to make sure you finish Dishonored 2 first…

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a massive expansion that, with some expanded mechanics and refined cutscenes, could have been sold as a fully-fledged sequel and I would still have been impressed paying full price.

Death of the Outsider is a great game, having new powers and new features with Bille Lurk as the central character helps shave off any kind of series fatigue. We're excited to see where it all goes next!

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a good game. It’s not great and I’m not sure it’s worth the $49 CAD unless you are a fan of the franchise. To anyone who hasn’t really been following Dishonored I wouldn’t recommend this game. Instead I’d point them directly at Dishonored 2 which is not only a full game but a great game. At this point it’s probably cheaper too. For those who do enjoy the Dishonored games definitely pick this game up if it fits your budget.

A fitting end to a plot line some consider the best in the universe so far. I’m excited to see what comes next for the franchise, I can only see it either getting better or just hovering around consistently great fun to play. But for now, any fans of the franchise have a lot of fun to be found in this new instalment.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is the shortest Dishonored but also my favorite one. The game has a nicer “flow” than its predecessors due to unlimited use of abilities. Packed with 5 main mission, 13 side quests, and 8 collectibles you get an AAA quality game well worth the $29,99 asking price — highly recommended for trophy hunters who want an enjoyable, quick and easy platinum trophy.

Fans of Dishonored should pick this up as it wraps up the Kaldwin saga, but mostly because it’s yet another refinement of an already excellent game.
