Monster Hunter has a basic formula that makes it work incredibly well, it is about hunting monsters in order to collect parts of them and thus be able to build more powerful weapons and armor to be able to kill or capture the following monsters. This is terribly addictive and even more so if we play with friends online. Monster Hunter World is the best

Monster Hunter: World is a fantastic game that kept me enthralled for 60 wonderful hours. I loved exploring the world, discovering new areas, and engaging in epic fights with excellently designed monsters. There's so much gameplay to enjoy, that despite a few snags, I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to almost anyone.

All in all, Monster Hunter: World is a fantastic journey into, well, the world of Monster Hunter. It hits all the checkboxes, provides a huge amount of replay value and it's a huge win for the franchise. And since I started on this review, Capcom has gone on record stating that the game has sold over 6 million copies. Which hopefully means that the return of Monster Hunter on consoles (and eventually PC) would be the last. Gone would be the days where the title was limited to mobile platforms, outside of the Japan-exclusive Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game. The game is a great jumping in point for newcomers to the series, while veterans will be right at home.

CAPCOM has transferred Monster Hunter series to the eighth generation consoles in order to attract both old fans and new players; and it has been successful in delivering so. The game benefits from beautiful and pristine environments and the monsters are designed full of details with their own unique characteristics. These features alongside smooth and simple combat system bring the players a pure experience. In addition, ignoring some small issues, multiplayer mode doubles the fun. The game is full of content and fresh experiences that can entertain its player for hours. If you want a memorable experience of a role-playing game, don't miss Monster Hunter World.

Monster Hunter World is one of the most fun multiplayer experiences I’ve ever had. While the game is somewhat slow to start, the payoff is more than worth it thanks to the stellar multiplayer and how refreshingly accessible Monster Hunter World is for series newbies.

Capcom did his homework by starting a new chapter in Monster Hunter's story. May the results match and give the creators the green light to work on the next part on PS4, XOne and PC... So play, hunt, play and hunt!

The improvements are a refreshing change for long-time players, and Capcom was able to revitalize the series for a new generation. A game that's truly deserving of its subtitle regarding reach and depth.

Whether you're hunting by yourself or bringing on a full squad of hunters armed to the teeth, "Monster Hunter: World" is a wonderfully unique gaming experience. Even after dozens of hours I still feel like I'm scratching the surface with each new mission. That experience comes with a steep learning curve, but sticking with it just might get you to your new favorite game.

Monster Hunter: World is a vastly complex action-adventure game littered with plenty of menus that customise the various weapons and armour pieces, while gathering useful resources to assist the hunter in taking down the next big monster. The gameplay loop of hunt-upgrade-hunt-upgrade is an addictive one that rarely stumbles into "grinding" territory, although some may see the whole game as a grind. Fans of the long-running series will find plenty to love with this latest edition, although newcomers will have an accessible title with which to dip their toes into. Do not be fooled, though, as this is not an easy game that sugar-coats the experience. Monster Hunter: World is hard, but it is satisfying to do the homework on each monster, preparing well for them before dishing out some hunting justice and slaying them for their materials. While the battle system can be mechanically clunky, and issues will surely arise in every fight, this is by no measure a deal breaker, as the majestic monsters and beautiful locations with the addictive gameplay loop and complex systems more than make up for it.

Monster Hunter World is a hallmark entry into the storied franchise that will light a fire in the belly of any triumphant Hunter. While there are some excessively rare moments of frustration, each and every aspect of the game culminates in a viscerally satisfying cycle that keeps you coming back for more and more.

There's something to be said for that in the current landscape. Monster Hunter World is a game full of people all striving to achieve their common goals within a set of gameplay mechanics that doesn't so much actively discourage going at it alone as encourage collective work, where the learning is never truly finished.

Monster Hunter: World is a huge step forward in the action RPG saga from Capcom. Despite some simplifications in the gameplay mechanics realized to welcome the new players, the developer has managed to create an awesome hunting experience in a big and detailed open world. A potentially endless game incredibly fun to play with friends, an experience that will change and evolve in the next few months with live events and updates, as promised by Capcom.
