Battle for Azeroth is a good expansion for World of Warcraft, with not so many improvements in gameplay, but a lot of new contents to experience and enjoy.

If Blizzard manages to keep up the momentum it has built here, the future's looking strong for the ruling monarch of the MMORPG. I'm not entirely sure who's looking at World of Warcraft after fourteen years and only now deciding to jump in. But if you are, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better time than right now.

It may not break new ground in comparison to the preceding expansion, but Battle for Azeroth provides a wealth of activities for players to enjoy and experience

Battle for Azeroth is off to a weak start. The new zones are beautiful, to be sure, but the climatic introduction cinematic and quests lead into a whole lot of cliché and not a lot of action. If the War has come back to Warcraft, well …I've not seen it.

Battle for Azeroth isn't my favorite expansion but it's definitely up there.

Even if its new loot system is a bust, Battle for Azeroth is a vibrant expansion full of wondrous new locales to explore, characters to meet, and stories to tell.

Predictably, as is always the way with an MMO, this is very early days for Battle for Azeroth. There's a world of promise here, and scratching the surface will quickly draw you in.

World of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth sets out to win back old players and draw in new ones with an increased level cap, new zones, and a restructuring of PvP.

While War of Thorns left a bad taste for many, the expansion proper has been a delight. Some quests have questionable writing and the tropes from previous expansions rear their heads in places, but the dungeon and levelling experience is great. Depending on where the story goes, this expansion could end up near the top.

So far, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is a solid addition to the long-running MMORPG. Currently, I am trying to increase my item level so I can be ready for the raid in a few weeks. The grind to do that is a long one, requiring a lot of time that not a lot of people have. It is the one crux of this game. When you start World of Warcraft, you have to stay committed. If you're serious about playing and want to enter the raid on the first day of release, missing just one day is a loss of progress. However, if you do commit and you have a group of people to play with, as it is right now, Battle for Azeroth has plenty of content for you to enjoy with a lot more to come.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth delivers the best storytelling and world design yet, but doesn't make any additional significant improvements to the World of Warcraft formula.

Battle for Azeroth is off to a solid start, but Blizzard has a lot to improve if they want to win the war.

Battle for Azeroth launches strong by renewing the conflict between the Horde and Alliance. Blizzard offers two very different experiences this expansion with each faction having their own storyline on unique island nations. It's an enjoyable expansion during the leveling experience, but endgame currently has some issues with sparse weapon drops and clutter stemming from the new Azerite gear system. There are improvements to be made here, but what's available at launch is still very good.

As the millions of people still streaming into the game show, if Blizzard sees Battle for Azeroth as a struggle to keep our hearts and interest, it's clearly already won.

Unless Blizzard has some real story shake-ups and a phenomenally tuned raid on the horizon, I'm honestly expecting the sharpest player decrease to set in within the next few months. The expansion itself has some interesting ideas, but sticking to a World Quest grindfest is quickly becoming the norm, and the Island Expeditions aren't exactly exciting.

We won't know the full quality of the expansion for a couple of years, but Battle for Azeroth is off to a strong start.

Faction politics are the backbone of Battle for Azeroth, but the real victories are the friends that you make along the way.

Or will Blizzard just give us more of the same, because I am completely fine with that at this point. Stories so interesting I've defected to the Horde to make sure I get to enjoy them all? I guess I can live with that.

Battle for Azeroth, despite the endless grind, has been an exciting expansion this far. However, raids and additional content are what makes the game great. Blizzard has made the entry level into the new expansion welcoming for new players and some die-hard critics have shared their concerns with the current direction Blizzard are going with making the gaming "easier."
