Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is a faithful recreation of the classic PS1-era Spyro games with fun platforming and vibrant game worlds, though some aspects haven't aged well.
With three titles of great quality being redesigned to be beautiful even by today's standards, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy burns bright. Little touches such as a unique design for every Elder Dragon, an attention to detail in the aesthetics of the levels, and a dynamic music system breathe life into what was already a lively collection. Spyro is back, and his games are exactly as good as you remember.
Overall, Spyro Reignited Trilogy is an excellent remake of the originals.

Fans of the originals will find almost nothing to dislike, and I can see Spyro delighting a new generation of players with the quality of this collection.
There is something magical about this trilogy. Sure Crash had more fanfare, but Spyro feels like a piece of history lost. Going back to these games was a pure joyful experience. Whether it was my fatigue of current titles or just that I crave colorful platformers, I cannot recommend this game enough. Even with its blemishes it was a title that I spent the most time smiling while playing.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy is an absolute pleasure and a strong continuation of Activision's commitment to remastering classic games. For those who grew up with or loved the old Spyro games, I can't imagine you won't find yourself engrossed in the collective quality of these remasters. For those new to the world of Spyro, this game is a winner even without its history. Plus, a very attainable set of achievements (or trophies) means you can earn yourself some rewards along the way.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy is the best way players have to experience the first three entries in the Spyro the Dragon series. The remasters are extremely faithful to the originals, with a couple of additions and smoother controls that make all three games a joy to play. Sadly, some technical issues prevent the Trilogy from being the best remaster ever released, but it's definitely close to it.
Though some curious issues persist, there's no denying that the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a stunning effort that every platforming aficionado and fan alike should grab with both hands and not let go until every last gem is wrung out.
If you want a true blast from the past, Spyro Reignited has plenty to offer. The design, simplicity and cheeky grin on Spyro's face really makes the game a delight to play. Levels have been remade to such accuracy that if you have an old Spyro guide laying around it you could use it for reference. With all the nostalgia aside the game performs well but unfortunately is not without its flaws, becoming a little stale at times and with controls that needed a bit more work.
This is a remake Spyro fans can be proud of, and a threesome of old-school 3D platformers that a new generation of players will come to love.
Toys for Bob managed to do justice to the original gameplay, improving (almost) everything else. Spyro Reignited Trilogy is great for the hardcore fans of the purple dragon, but it's also suitable for the younger audience.

If you were expecting a bunch of new content included in the revamp, you might be slightly disappointed, yet if this is all brand new and shiny to you, it’s more than worth its price tag.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a joy to play through. There are a few issues with the port, but it's a beautiful game that's a joy to get lost in.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy lands on the Nintendo Switch with the three first games of the purple dragon series and the result is a triple remake that delivers when it comes to bringing the graphics and sound up to today's standards and an experience that is in line with the original works. A welcome addition to the Switch catalogue which will no doubt appeal to players young and old(er).
