Forgotton Anne Reviews
Forgotton Anne would make a great two hours long anime. But as a game it's mediocre at best.

Forgotton Anne tells a wonderful story about the importance of memories, the feelings and some modern problems of our society. Artistically wonderful, the game is a bit too guided and offers simple puzzles.

This is one of the best 2D adventure games I've played in a long time. We play as Anne, a forgotling, forgotten child who's now grown up. We uncover the truth behind the city, the power and the Man to eventually make the final choice.

Forgotton Anne sets new benchmark in interactive story-telling and shows that you don’t need to have a big budget just to provide the best experience.
Forgotton Anne is good at telling a story, and creating a new world filled with magical things. The hand-painted art style and the background music are remarkable, and the puzzle part has some strengths too. However, the handling feel of this game is not satisfactory enough, which kind of reminds me the original version of Prince of Persia.

A very interesting adventure game, capable of truly send a vast range of emotions about what we have forgotten . Be ready to deal with a poor implementation of platforming, anyway.

I was expecting a little more from Forgotton Anne, particularly after how the trailer portrayed the game. Even with that, there's a sense of beauty in it all. The puzzles, characters, and design will still manage to stir emotion in Anne's experience despite the visible blemishes throughout your journey.
Forgotton Anne has more story than many games three times the price. It's a journey worth taking and a name worth remembering.
A beautiful platform adventure with gentle puzzle solving and a strong anime influence. Highly recommended.
A stunning game on every front, and it deserves the praise it gets.
I think that anybody who wouldn't enjoy this game knows who they are. While I wouldn't put Forgotton Anne into the category of an essential for gamers of all types, I would easily recommend playing this game to basically anybody who would give it even a passing interest. It is the type of game that punches way above its weight, and it managed to surprise me. It's available today on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, so if you're still reading this, give it a look.
To conclude, I found this game to be a breath of fresh air. It's intricate storyline, puzzle solving and dynamic environment kept me interested from start to finish. I give this game a 9 for it was almost a masterpiece, but hopefully in future updates they can fix those small bugs.
Forgotton Anne is a fantastic narrative journey propelled by an exceptional heroine. The Enforcer is strong, capable and shrouded in mystery; a case you slowly uncover while discovering who she is and where she came from.
This title will 've remembered for the game that was also an anime
A beautifully animated story, held back only by mediocre puzzles and questionable design choices.
A puzzle-platformer that's elevated by its winsome anime aesthetic.
A bizarre mix of weighty subject matter and cartoon presentation that somehow works perfectly in portraying a morally complex world and its characters.
Throughline Games really ought to be applauded; Forgotton Anne is something rather special. If this is the calibre of the studio's first game, I really can't wait to see what else it comes up with.
Forgotton Anne is a little work of art with some very beautiful animated graphics, a good, albeit prolonged storyline and vivid characters. It deserves your attention!
