After about 15 months, the journey of Diaz brothers finally comes to an end and so does our business with Life is Strange 2. There are a lot of reasons to play this game; interesting and engaging story, beautifully designed environments and top notch voice acting. Although the shallow gameplay and long dialogues can make the experience a little less pleasing, but overtime you engage more and more with the story. Overall Life is strange 2 is one of the best adventure games of 2018 and 2019.

Life is Strange 2 delivers a strong message and it's impossible for you not to feel some emotions while playing through the five episodes. Nevertheless, the story is not as interesting as the first game, most characters are not memorable and above all: the character we control (Sean) has no powers (only his brother has). That is, we play in a passive way, guiding Daniel. The mechanics of going back in time from the original Life is Strange are what made it unique, while its absence here makes it just another adventure among so many others.

It was worth the risk: Life is Strange 2 tells an emotional and touching story, just like the first game, and the finale is much better this time. Although the pacing sometimes suffers, in the end this road trip still is great.

Life is still strange with this series. Dontnod managed to open difficult topics and made them playable, but the game isn't as appealing as the first one.

Although Life is Strange 2 offers varied themes and visually exquisite moments, it falters by featuring an unappealing road trip adventure with disconnected episodes that lack character growth. Lethargic pacing and shallow interaction make for a boring sequel about two brothers that should have stayed home.

Life is Strange 2 takes the familiar formula and delivers it on a grander scale while tackling difficult topics across the USA.

Life is Strange 2 can be considered a worthy title as a successor to the saga, especially because of the always topical and serious themes it deals with. However, what turns the nose up are the way the episodes tend to be too fast-paced, with characters coming and going and scenes easily forgotten.

Life is Strange 2 is a worthy sequel to both Life is Strange and Before the Storm. The game can't compete with either of them, but makes for a good third game. The story of Sean and Daniel is compelling and keeps you interested. Although there is a quiet episode in the middle of the story and not everything makes the impact you expect.

Life is strange 2 is a fantastic story-based 3D adventure around the brothers Sean and Danieldye, which picks up difficult topics like racism and police brutality, but also shows the wonderful side of a growing, bonding brotherhood. Sadly the Nintendo Switch Version seems not to be really tested before the release, so its full of glitches and old graphics, which destroy the gameplay a lot. Overall: great story, but better play it on another platform.

Life is Strange 2 is an exciting, unforgettable and visceral journey through a world of injustices, but which also holds many beauties. It is an essential game for anyone who enjoys good narratives and is particularly moved by the topic of family, with the Switch version being a good way to enjoy it.

Life is Strange 2 is a worthy sequel that can be played completely independently from the first installment and presents us with a classic adventure with certain novelties but without risking too much. His sometimes forced history often leads us by the hand of real decisions and situations, mature in many cases, making us really want to give the Diaz brothers a good ending. Whether you liked the first installment or not played it but you like this type of game, do not hesitate to give it a try.

Life is Strange 2 portrays events vigorously, exposing contemporary social problems in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable. The story of the Diaz brothers is more humane, tough, mature and certainly realistic. You may not fall in love with it like the first game, but its definitely an experience worth living. <br />

Even though Life is Strange 2 didn't measure up to the lofty expectations set by the amazing first season, it still offers a gripping, emotional adventure giving you plenty to think about. And that should be enough.

Life Is Strange 2 has a better core relationship at the heart of its game, but it fails them with the episodic adventure's at times boring, formulaic episode structure; something its predecessor did not suffer from. Some of the story beats are preachy and unearned. Where Life Is Strange 2 hits its stride is more a technical feat: in how its core relationship between brothers Sean and Daniel becomes a game mechanic in itself, and how all the choices you make shape Daniel as he grows up.
