Despite being damaged by the built-in grind, Mortal Kombat 11 is well worth your time.

Mortal Kombat 11 is the best installment in MK series and more importantly, it is one of the best fighting game ever. with huge amount of content, amazing roster, valuable story mode, tons of customization and very deep combat, Mortal Kombat 11 is the game that you must experience, either you are a fighting games fan or not. There are proplems like unbalanced frustrating loot system and abscence of some of the best characters in the series, but in the end, so many amazing aspects of the game, don't let these problems stay in the way of calling Mortal Kombat 11 a "Fightnig Masterpiece"

If story mode is the only thing you are interested in, Mortal Kombat 11 won't disappoint. But when you'll start to look at what else is offered, you'll encounter a horrible grind, unbalanced Towers of Time and bland customization options.

Almost three decades since the original, Mortal Kombat 11 proves the fighter's might is still strong.

Mortal Kombat 11 is an excellent fighting game. It offers many new features in its gameplay, including elements that bring innovation in mechanics that most developers do not usually risk altering - and that's a pretty positive thing. The story mode is still great, although its conclusion is somewhat disappointing. The different game modes are great as well, like the vast tutorial, the functional online, Towers and Krypt. It's in Krypt, however, that you'll notice that you'll have to play for a long time to get access to a lot of game content and this can be a little discouraging.

Those that can turn a blind eye to Mortal Kombat 11's grind will have a good time turning their opponent into meaty bits. The core fighting engine powering this title isn't drastically different compared to previous entries, but there's no point in fixing what isn't broken.

Mortal Kombat has never been better. It blends gameplay from past & present into a potent and bloody mix. A well-thought-out story mode elevates it into the top tier of fighting games. Flawless Victory!

Mortal Kombat 11 feels like a highly polished fighting game with a great story campaign. There are certain issues with the game balance and economy that make it somewhat less appealing, but the developers so far have been quite vocal and open about resolving it, which is encouraging and shows a promising future. Given some time, this could be an easy contender for the best Mortal Kombat released so far.

I wish that I could've enjoyed playing it so much more, but the arduous grind for cosmetics permeates so strongly through the backbone of this game that picking it up to play at all can be frustrating. NetherRealm has promised a patch to make the grind easier, but all it seems to do is increase the rate you gain currency without removing the always-online restrictions. I hope that someday they relax a bit more and make Towers of Time more playable on the go, because right now I can't recommend Mortal Kombat on Switch nearly as much as I want to.

Mortal Kombat 11 caters to the hype as far as its combat is concerned, managing to expand on the series' trademark formula and provide an entertaining story mode to boot. In a truly admirable feat of game design, every character manages to feel fresh despite some of them being around since 1992. Long-time fans and newcomers alike will have plenty to enjoy with this title. The only thing holding Mortal Kombat 11 back is its convoluted gear system, but with NetherRealm committed to continually improve upon its creation, that is subject to change. As it stands, this is a great fighting experience.

Mortal Kombat 11 is a great fighting game ruined by excessive amounts of grinding and also the bad quality of the PC port. The game itself is masterfully made & very fun to play, but the grind & the always-online requirement have dragged down the overall experience so much that they have drastically decreased its value

That said, there's clearly a lot more done right that wrong in Mortal Kombat 11. It stands out as the best entry in the new trilogy and presents you with a lot to explore, learn and even master. That is why Mortal Kombat 11 will continue to be the game that you're playing in-between other games, long after you're done with it.

Mortal Kombat 11 is the latest and greatest entry in the long-running fighting game series focused on excessive murder and crazy Asian-inspired supernatural things. The formula is bloodier, more refined, and improved upon, and this feels like the definitive Mortal Kombat game.

Mortal Kombat 11 is a very divisive game, most notably due to the heavy focus on unlockables and in-game kurrency, but if you look past that, it's a very competent and enjoyable fighting game that I would happily recommend. I have no doubt that it will become a staple of tournaments in the coming future, and it deserves to - it polishes the kombat model introduced in MK9 and MKX, making it a fighting game to die for.

All in all, Mortal Kombat 11 is a great package, and nicely fleshed out with a ton of content and modes for both the casual fighting game players like myself and the hardcore community who want to get stuck into the online battling. The heavy involvement of microtransactions can be an annoyance, for sure, but there's more than enough to get busy with to help beat the grind.

A Mortal Kombat with great customization possibilities and lot of single player content, even sometimes grinding could be avoided. We loved the more tactical gameplay that leaves to the player much more control over the simple combo connection.
