Life Is Strange 2: Episode 3 introduces exciting new faces, familiar threats, and difficult impactful choices that shape the Diaz brothers.
It's the weakest episode yet, even with its cliffhanger ending. The choices you make throughout Episode 3 don't feel as if they carry as much weight, even on a pure brotherly level.
There's no question that Sean and Daniel leave Life is Strange 2's third episode with more scars than they began with. Scars have a way of robbing innocence and dispiriting the spirited. It's no wonder Daniel is disillusioned. But that headstrong attitude leaves Wastelands feeling like an episode without much development. Deep in the California forest, the weed is growing but that's about it.
Whereas the first episode was a promising start and the second episode seemed like anomaly, this third episode appears to disprove that by setting a disappointing tone for the rest of the season. And we’ll have to wait yet another four or so months to see if that’s accurate or not.
Short but intense episode that begins to show what this season of contents is going to be capable of showing. Multiple endings and a satisfying cliffhanger for this 2 hour adventure that leaves us wanting the 4º episode.

While Wastelands improves on episode two for the most part there's still a long way to go to hit the heights of season one.
think this has been my favourite episode because it went from “superhero bros on the run” to being more of a bildungsroman for Sean. And if it ramps up the psychic powers stuff from this point on, there will likely be less of that. Which would be a shame.
Life Is Strange 2: Wastelands is an unsuccessful attempt to create a rebellious product. Characters are badly written and a story is boring. And that's the worst verdict for a modern interactive adventure.

The original game charmed people with its characters and premise but fell through on delivering a satisfying story. This game feels like it’s been mapped out from beginning to end, and this strength carries me through its weaker moments so I can experience events like the climax of Wastelands.
Life Is Strange 2 Episode 3: Wastelands is the weakest and shortest installment of the game so far. The dialogue-heavy episode starts slow but finishes strong and sets up a new obstacle for Sean and Daniel with a real cliffhanger of an ending.
Wasteland is the classic middle episode, capable of a captivating plot twist to the point of making it difficult to wait for the next episode.

Life is Strange 2 - Episode 3 continues to impress in terms of soundtrack, setting and character development. It's not as fast paced as the others in this series, but it works perfectly for the emotional narrative underpinning the overall journey.
This is the weakest episode of Life is Strange 2 so far, but that doesn't make it a bad one. DONTNOD has decided to tackle a number of brave, progressive themes and explores more of the characters I've come to love.
A bit different from the previous episodes in terms of tone, Wasteland is a very pleasant crossroad for Life is Strange 2, with some very interesting characters, a good evolution of Sean and Daniel's relationship, heartbreaking choices to make and a shocking ending that promises a lot for what's coming next.

By choosing to flesh out the supporting cast, Life is Strange 2 reaches a new high with the release of Wastelands. It's an emotionally intense episode that both builds and destroys the bonds Sean has worked so hard to forge.
Life Is Strange 2: Episode 3 still has a problem with pacing and may put off players who aren't diehard fans of this series. But for those willing to forgive some of its more mundane passages, this episode delivers a pretty compelling denouement and hints at better things to come.
In the series' third chapter, Life is Strange 2 delivers its best episode yet that touches on Sean and Daniel finding themselves in the wild.
