Deep Rock Galactic Reviews
Deep Rock Galactic offers some enticing exploration, as discovering randomly generated caves can be a thrill each time, and the unique abilities of each class are fun to combine. But things quickly begin to grow stale, like the air this far down into the earth, with repetitive missions and little reason to grind out your experience levels.
If you're looking for your next co-op addiction, Deep Rock Galactic could well be it. Brilliantly balanced character classes and engaging, emergent missions make for highly enjoyable underground antics, particularly with pals. Some networking issues and perhaps overly complex design decisions could frustrate, but it's a game worth sticking with for the moments where it all comes together. With replay value through the roof and satisfying gameplay at its core, this is one rock solid game to dig into.
A clear and distinct spin on 4-player co-op FPS with atmosphere, ingenuity… and real navigational problems.
I have never felt bored while playing Deep Rock Galactic as I was always had an assignment to do, be it for some new skins or to promote my dwarves, or simply helping other players doing their assignments. I can not wait to see what Ghost Ship Games brings us next.
While the Playstation version of Deep Rock Galactic has a few downsides here and there, overall, the game is a blast to play with your friends. The procedurally-generated environments, endless variations on missions, and the customization will provide hours upon hours of fun and challenges.
Deep Rock Galactics is one of the best cooperative games of these times.

Extremely thrilling and addictive, surprisingly polished, and packed with content, Deep Rock Galactic is a delicious treat, and a great riff on some well trodden gameplay concepts.
...Deep Rock Galactic finds a way to create one of the most compelling co-op games I’ve had the pleasure of playing in recent memory.
Anyone fond of multi-player centric games that require teamwork and likes to fill a specific role will almost certainly find something to enjoy in Deep Rock Galactic. It's a great way to spend time with friends and has a lot of content depending on how much you mind doing the same things over and over again. Anyone who strongly dislikes repetition will probably get sick of it after a while, though.
Deep Rock Galactic features everything a first-person shooter needs to be great: excellent mission variety and character design, an engaging gameplay loop, smooth co-op and huge amount of content.
Ooh, aah, that's how it always starts, then later there's running and screaming. Deep Rock Galactic can be deceptively easy going at times, right up until the swarms of bugs come crawling out of the inky darkness to besiege you and your friends. Who knew space dwarf mining could be so fun?
If you love playing online co-op games then Deep Rock Galactic will knock your little dwarf socks off with its rewarding gameplay loop, variety of fun gadgets, and satisfying sense of comradery. Rock and Stone!
Deep Rock Galactic is an innovative first person shooter in which we will live the adventures of some cute dwarves. Varied missions, cooperative for 4 people and fun is what awaits us in this title.

If we were to define a range, and then define Deep Rock Galactic using that range, we would have Minecraft on one side, and Left 4 Dead and Killing Floor on the other. Deep Rock Galactic is a game very similar, yet very different game from these two extremes. If you grab freedom of choice and action of Minecraft, mix it with some Objective-based gameplay from Left 4 Dead and add the theme of survival but not a lot; As a result, you’ll be experiencing Deep Rock Galactic – An exemplary combination of teamwork and free playstyle, which is executed optimally and has a scent of Dwarven sarcasm. Although, due to essential differences DRG has with the extremes of its range, this title can be a Hit-or-Miss, even for those who absolutely love Co-Op games. The biggest difference is the lack of a grand purpose and a final goal for the players

Ultimately, Deep Rock Galactic is a fantastic game for those who like Left 4 Dead or games like it. The squad based missions are infinitely more fun with friends though, and similar to Sea of Thieves the game is more enjoyable with others.
A fantastic cooperative experience that delves deep into one narrow corner of fantasy tropes – the dwarven love of hard work and pretty rocks.
Deep Rock Galactic is a great game with only a few errors. The lack of any story and similar enemies are the only reasons why this game is not an absolutely perfect title for gamer groups with 4 members.

There are few better examples in the industry than Ghost Ship Game’s use of Early Access. Deep Rock Galactic is a tightly-honed and laser-focused cooperative FPS that stands toe-to-toe with the best in the genre. With a mix of excellent gameplay, solid graphics, and brilliant gameplay concepts, I strongly recommend it to anyone looking to play either solo or especially with their friends.
Deep Rock Galactic is an outstanding cooperative, in which one moment you will be drinking beers with your companions, and the next you will be riddling enemies. With an enormous amount of detail, Ghost Ship Games' debut feature becomes a must-have, and the studio becomes a studio to follow from now on.
