‎If you are looking for an adventure for a player, that young and old can enjoy, it is one of the best options you will find this Christmas. It is not very original and always goes on insurance, but its pleasant and entertaining development and great dubbing invite you to continue playing. On Switch it has slight frame petardeos, but it is perfectly playable.‎

Finally, Microids has prepared a platform game for everyone, which will be fun for both the youngest and adults who remember the Smurfs of their childhood. Despite some bugs, a not very developed mechanic and a fairly simple story, it is a smurfly pleasant title for the whole family.

I didn't start out with the best of expectations, but The Smufs Mission Villeaf turned out to be a nice little game! For a few hours it brought me back to the age when I hastily dined to leave my parents to their sad newsreel, and went to watch the Smurfs on the TV in my room. The graphic rendering of the characters is commendable (certainly more rounded than that of the two recent films) and the soundtrack a small masterpiece.

Like I mentioned at the top this is a game that just feels like it exists. I was drawn in thanks to my connection to the Smurfs from my childhood. Playing with my son he enjoyed the game, but had little interest in learning about the characters. It feels like the game is more built to tug at nostalgia instead of bringing in new interest. Even so the core game is enjoyable enough to recommend for parents looking to play games with their kids. It is easy enough to play while also not being too simplified for the sake of being a ‘kids’ game. Definitely worth checking out for parents and kids alike.

Just in time for the holiday shopping season comes a smurf platformer that's much better than it should be. The relatively low budget is certainly noticeable in most things, but the most important parts shine. With charming graphics and as entertaining as it is challenging platforming, it's a colourful adventure that's perfect for the whole family.

The Smurfs: Missin Vileaf is a tiny adventure meant for parents and kids to share the game. Slow paced and with litte to lose the game will undoubtely entertain the little ones for quite some time.

With The Smurfs - Mission Vileaf, Osome Studio offers a kind of huge tutorial to 3D platformers: folded in the space of just a few hours, the adventure is only for beginner players in full development of their fine motor skills. With beacons every two meters and invisible walls in abundance, this initiatory course with a very nice tone remains much too wise to satisfy other profiles.

In looking for a way to compose a product suitable for children, Microids seems to have lost sight of what is really needed to convey a bit of healthy fun pad in hand.

If you are a long-time fan of Papa Smurf and his little friends, you will surely enjoy this. The game is pretty far from perfect and shows some hiccups on Nintendo Switch, but it's fun enough to achieve what he wanted: to entertain the younger players with a cartoonish and colorful adventure.

The Smurfs Mission Vileaf is a good time, even if it can be a bit long winded at times, a lot of love went into this game, and I think it's a good time had by gamers of all ages.

As a platformer, The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf is a bubby and bright adventure that gamers of all ages can enjoy. However, some mechanics do feel a little underutilised and may hinder the enjoyment for older players.

Thanks to a colourful, well-designed world, challenging platforming sections and engaging gameplay, The Smurfs – Mission Vileaf solidifies itself as an example of one of the best children’s franchise tie-in games we’ve seen in recent years. It might be a bit too challenging for younger players by themselves, but it means it’s just as fun for adults, too. This is a commendable 3D platforming adventure that players of all ages will enjoy.

Again, if you go into Project Vileaf expecting a life-changing game experience, um, you won’t get it. It’s lacking in long-term features to keep you hanging for too long. However, it’s got a pretty fun presentation, backed by gameplay that will keep you coming back for more. It could’ve used some better balancing with enemies in some places, along with possible multiplayer, but overall, we’re just Smurfed that the game ended up being more positive than expected.

This might actually be the best product ever made with the Smurfs named attached to it. The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf is not terrible, it’s just aggressively mediocre. It has some good ideas here and there, such as some above average level design and well-animated characters, but it is hampered by a series of technical issues. Then there’s the biggest culprit of them all: the fact it’s based on such a bland franchise to begin with.

Lovers of Smurfs and 3D platformers should try, especially since the price is not excessive. However, this is certainly not a production that will break into the canon of the genre.

The Smurfs - Misson Vileaf is a big surprise with its well structured challenge. The difficulty may be a little high for the target audience, but the more nostalgic players and platformer fans will have an excellent title to enjoy hours of Smurf fun.

‎Is the game worth it? Yes and no. The game lacks some dots on the i's and also lasts a short time. After about four hours, the credits roll across the screen. Fifty euros is quite tough for that. Still, if you can see through the flaws and you love the smurfs or love platformers, this is definitely one to bring home. It's nice to feel for yourself how you can escape Gargamel and hang out the hero by freeing various smurfs.‎

The Smurfs - Mission Vileaf is mainly aimed at the young audience, but adults can also enjoy themselves. Visually, it is not always beautiful. Despite the fact that the controls aren't too difficult and don't make the game unplayable, they could have been a bit better. Nevertheless, the gameplay compensates for the shortcomings and there is no shortage of fun.

This is a game that is mainly for children, so focusing on narration and world is not that important.
