Moss Book2 is longer, more versatile and graphically better than it's predecessor. Quill (and companions) are adorable as ever, but the even bigger stakes and more interesting puzzles make this follow-up even more interesting. The release together with PS VR2 is welcome and makes this one of the better starter-games of the launch line-up.

Quill isn't done saving the world yet, and in this second installment, Quill is hunted by a winged tyrant named Tylan. The story may not immediately be called very strong, but there are certainly some improvements to be seen in how this game is put together. For example, some beautiful new areas have been added and there is also an update in weapons. All in all, it's a great game to play and we can only hope that we don't have to wait another four years for a sequel.

Moss: Book II is a natural continuation of Polyarc's debut chapter. The game world is larger, the opportunities for interaction have grown, and the deep connection you develop with Quill is more evident and sought after. New enemies, weapons and abilities make combat and puzzles more varied, interesting and engaging. The environments are richer and more surprising, inviting us to fully immerse ourselves in a fairytale world. But, just like the first time, it seems that the game stops just when it could have given us so much more. The controls can be a little cumbersome at times and unfortunately expose PSVR's shortcomings, but Moss Book 2 is still one of the best experiences you can have on PlayStation.

Moss: Book II serves as a perfect sequel to the original, though it doesn't introduce as many new things as you might want.

Polyarc has managed to once again captivate us with their story about a tiny mouse with the courage of a lion. With new gameplay mechanics and wonderful environments, the game will make you sit up from your chair. Not only to appreciate all the details, but because of the limitations of PS VR hardware that make tracking movement very tricky.

Book II might not boast the widest breadth of content nor insane mechanical complexity, but a rare few titles can dare to match its earnest warmth and overwhelming charm.

Moss Book II is a game very deserving of your attention. Its novel use of VR as a medium is fascinating and helps to tell a heartfelt story with you and the adorable Quill at its center. It's bigger and better than the first in many ways, but is greatly held back by small yet consistent and progress blocking bugs.

‎The attractive proposal of the original remains intact in a game that does not innovate too much, but that continues to offer a magnificent experience of adventure and virtual reality.‎

Seriously, how cute is Quill? Her adventure is quite the epic one though, and you should be ready for a strong emotional ride. By the way, the puzzles are perfectly integrated into the platform sections, and considering the lack of strong alternatives on PS VR right now, you should just thank Polyarc and give them your money.

Moss: Book II doesn't lose any momentum and directly continues the touching story from the first title. It expands gameplay in new and fun ways and immerses you in its fairy tale world quite effectively. While it's a fun and highly polished affair, it still plays it a bit safe in some regards, but that's easy to forget when the end product looks and plays this well. Much like its predecessor, Moss: Book II is a must-play title in VR.

Moss: Book 2 is a loving and fascinating title even more than the first book.

The greatest success of Moss: Book II is not that it advertises PlayStation VR or that it stands out as a VR experience, but that it hits the necessary quality levels to advertise the PlayStation brand in general.

In most cases, a game being “more of the same”, not being THAT different from its predecessor, would be considered a disappointment. In the case of Moss: Book II, however, being more of what made that 2018 game so special isn’t bad at all, since that title left us wanting more upon beating it. I liked it more than its predecessor not only because of the slightly better design, but also due to the improved controls, courtesy of the Quest’s hardware.

Moss: Book 2 is the best we can get for PSVR. It fully uses its potential, and the game's story can keep children and adults alive on the screen. It offers an excellent level of dramatic fairy tale processing and draws players into the action.

Moss and Moss: Book II are exemplary virtual reality titles. The visual design, levels and characters are awesome, and this implementation increases the immersion through new control methods and greater player interactions. With PS VR2, the increased detail and fluidity is also excellent news for those who struggle with VR comfort. Without any doubt, this series is highly recommended to all who have a PS VR2 device.

As stated before, not much has changed in Moss Book II, making it an iterative sequel that keeps all of its strengths along with a few more bells and whistles.

There are a few challenging boss fights in Moss: Book 2, as well as some difficult puzzles to solve. Although the game can be challenging at times, the difficulty is just enough to keep things interesting without causing any frustration. The puzzles and fights grow gradually harder at a rate that eases players into it. With more boss fights, different environments, and new weapons, Moss: Book 2 is a fantastic game, and it's a worthy follow-up to Polyarc's highly praised debut title..

The PSVR 2 version of Moss: Book 2 is, once again, the definitive version of the game. If Polyarc makes a third Moss game, I cannot wait to see what they come up with. If you’ve never played Moss or Moss: Book 2, then you won’t regret picking up either game for the PSVR 2.

Polyarc has done an outstanding job with Moss Book II and I never thought I could get so emotionally attached to an adorable mouse like Quill. An immersive world and lovable main character are only the cherries on top of what otherwise is a solid VR puzzle-action-platformer game.
