It's not perfect, but Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a confident sequel that's best-in-class in the ways that matter most. Your favourite bits of the first two games are here, cherry-picked and placed into a narrative with a tasteful balance of earnest ideas and anime bullshit.
Like any ongoing series, it's enhanced if you're well versed in all of the verses, but as a first-time Xeno Chron, I say… jump on in.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is the pinnacle of more than twenty years making extraordinary JRPGS from Monolith Soft. Not even Switch hardware limitations could restrain tetsuya Takahashi's vision. Long live this way of making games, long live Monolith Soft.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is an exemplary JRPG on the Nintendo Switch, improving on the already great titles that came out before it while still welcoming newcomers.
With a new cast and story, Monolith Soft has successfully made a worthwhile sequel to their acclaimed series which will likely always be of the best action RPGS on the Switch.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 may not have the same spirit of invention that the first game had which made it such a huge success, but it is still an RPG masterpiece. Anyone who loved the first Xenoblade but had misgivings over some of questionable aspects of the second game (like the gacha mechanics), will find that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is perfectly balanced and delivers on almost every aspect imaginable.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is big, bold and broad in all fronts. It’s captivating narrative gives endless purposes to the gamer and tells a different tale this time around. Although it uses many anime style shenanigans here it has a very uniqe premise about regret, hope, meaning of going on and of course friendship. The music, deep class system, breathtaking locales and general production quality is top notch and I really liked how it’s big big world captives my soul and never ever a borefest. This is easily the best game in the long running series and one the best JRPG’s all time.

My high hopes for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 being a great entry in the series were far exceeded after finishing the game. It’s one of the best JRPGs I’ve ever played, and I can’t recommend it enough to all those who own a Nintendo Switch.
Monolith Soft has gone from great Xenogears to medium in terms of plot, that in terms of gameplay of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The triquel does not improve the ideas of the previous parts, but it adds a heap of its own problems.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a great RPG, and arguably the best title in the series to date. It could still use some editing, and the problems with the Switch itself will continue to hold the franchise back. But even those issues can't put a damper on the captivating combat engine and dynamic storytelling featured here.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has its fair share of rough edges, but look closer, and you'll find a world full of possibility and hope wrapped in a gripping narrative and remarkable combat.
JRPGs do not get better than this. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is Nintendo's finest to date and a must-play for fans of the genre. The moving story, delightful characters and deep, thrilling gameplay loop set this apart as a title that transcends the sum of its parts. There's so much to see and do and such a powerful story to be told, and it's all perfectly pieced together to result in a title that impresses on every level.
I truly think that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 combines the best features of its predecessors and gives us something that goes beyond both of them, certainly as far as gameplay is concerned. As I mentioned earlier on in this piece, I am currently at chapter 6 and while I don’t want to jump the gun, it’s looking to be the best of the three numbered entries so far!
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was a huge delight to me, easily taking the top spot in my favorite Xenoblade games. It hits so many marks that its flaws can be considered minimal. The cast is likeable, the gameplay is fun and engaging, the world is great to explore, and it is one of the best JRPGs I've ever played. While not flawless, the flaws it does have are forgivable or potentially patched, and you certainly get your money's worth. JRPG fans should absolutely give Xenoblade 3 a try, as it's a pure delight.
Monolith Soft has raised the bar with Xenoblade 3 even though it, may not be everyone's cup of tea due to it's complex and deep systems, but it will be remembered as one the best JRPG games ever made

The game leans into the classic JRPG trope of starting slow, forcing you to sit through multiple long cutscenes before the world opens up for you. It doesn’t quite reach the limits of my patience, but there are multiple stretches of at least 20 minutes where I never even touched the controller. The world-building is good and I’m excited to play with these characters. I just wish the game didn’t take so long to let me get there.
For Xenoblade fans? Mandatory item. For fans of the genre? Definitely. For those longing for an epic adventure? Oh, yes! Xenoblade Chronicles 3 does not disappoint in many places.

Is it massive entertaining RPG that doesnt disappoint? Indeed. It fulfills all expectations with excellent story, lot of dilemmas, well-written characters, vast world and plenty of activities and combat. Fans can be satisfied again and newcomers could give it a shot, finally.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a versatile JRPG with a deep combat system; a challenge in his own right, without being frustrating. A technical marvel with beautiful landscapes, that will make you get lost in the ecosystems of Aionios while being immersed in the story and his characters. Monolith Soft's most ambitious game to date; a must have for Nintendo Switch owners and JRPGs enthusiasts.
