Tinykin delivers a fun-sized chunk of satisfying 3D-platforming joy for all ages. Its charming cartoonish visuals and delightful cast of insectoids are bursting with personality and whimsy. While it doesn't provide much of a platforming challenge and drags its feet a bit through some repetitive escort missions, it's impossible not to smile at this joyous mini-world of anxious dung beetles and partying silverfish. A relaxing, cozy little adventure that will entertain the young-at-heart.
Tinykin is a fun platformer with smooth controls, fun graphics, and stress-free gameplay. It's a great game to pick up and play on the go.
Early on in one's adventure it's clear the tone here is one of a passive, laid back approach to challenge and accomplishment, but that direction in no way diminishes what ends up being one of the most delightful and well-curated IPs in this genre for some years.
Tinykin is a humble little game with modest aspirations for a target audience that is often neglected. Children can enjoy it, but so can children-at-heart too. Tinykin’s imaginative and creative visuals that overcome its limitations make it stand out. Most importantly, it feels really good to play because of its tight controls and its kinesthetic feedback.
Tinykins as the name suggests, are not only the tiniest, but also the cutest of useful helpers who will assist the scientist Milodane on his wholesome journey across this typical, insects infested human household. This staple of relaxing game marries addictive gameplay and creative game mechanics with adorable visuals and peaceful soundtrack. This must play hidden gem draws a lot of inspiration from the infamous Pikmin series, but it does this just as gracefully as Milo slides across the many rooms on his dope soapsurf.

Tinykin is a "stop and smell the roses'' kind of game that is brief in a way that gives a meaningful experience without overstaying its welcome. Its charming world and endearing characters are a pleasant window dressing to this safe, mellow bit of fun, and that's all it needs to be. Splashteam's singular focus on exploration and charm runs deep, and the end result is laudable for their Sophomore outing.
A wonderful 3D platformer with great level design. Fans of the genre shouldn't skip it.

No matter who you are, we challenge you to play Tinykin without a stupid grin on your face from start to finish. This is an utterly wholesome adventure game, packed with charm, clever ideas, puzzles and exploration. Heck, it even has a narrative twist to keep you on your toes. There’s so much to love here – we’re just sad it had to come to an end. Splashteam has absolutely blown it out of the teeny, tiny park, and we’d love more adventures with Milo in the future.
A creative adventure, dense in collectibles, enhanced by incredible level designs... it had everything to be one of the best 3D platformers of recent years. However, the annoying lack of difficulty in Tinykin leaves a void in the experience, which limits the enjoyment of the experience for more experienced players.

Tinykin is undoubtedly the best game of 2022. Its satisfying platforming coupled with its open-ended approach to mission design allows for some of the best exploration in a video game. Furthermore, its phenomenal visuals and sense of scale offer up levels that are a delight to explore. Tinykin is perfect in every single way, masterfully executing each and every one of its creative mechanics. It is a fulfilling and extremely rewarding experience, and one you shouldn't miss.

One of the most satisfying reveals during a recent Nintendo Direct was confirmation that Nintendo remembered one of their more innovative franchises, Pikmin, still exists. But as excited as Shigeru Miyamoto was to discuss the prospects of Pikmin Bloom, Pikmin 4 was certainly the more substantial announcement. However, with a vague 2023 release date, fans of the miniature multicolor plant people will have to find something else with which to occupy their time. Tinykin, the recent release from the ex-Ubisoft developers of Splashteam, shares some of Pikmin’s DNA while offering enough new and different mechanics to emerge as its own game. For players who love being a tiny little guy who bosses other, tinier little guys around, Tinykin will scratch a very specific itch.
Tinykin is an endearing action and 3D platforming adventure. Fast exploration is its biggest trump card, and the stages entice us to explore everywhere with its well thought locations. Besides that, there are many interesting puzzles that demand finding and using different tinykin — the challenge is low but it's fun to solve its creative puzzles. A soft atmosphere filled with charisma turns the experience into something even more enchanting. The areas are expansive and it has some fascinating and unique concepts, but the game suffers with some issues, such as the simplicity of tinykin usage and situations that repeat themselves from the very beginning to the end [of the game]. This doesn't hinder the journey as a whole but it still feels like a missed opportunity [to make something even better]. Overall, Tinykin is really worth a try.

Games like Tinykin are very special, mainly because they look great, and bolster a very niche and small genre in gaming. It is a good blend of Chibi Robo and Pikmin, with a clever visual style that oozes charm.
Most players will finish Tinykin in only a matter of hours. It’s a small game that provides a bit of fun before you move on to something else. There are certainly elements of it taken from other games in the genre, but it brings them together in a way that is new and shows a great deal of imagination, and it really doesn’t do much wrong. So if you’re craving a 3D platformer that doesn’t just feel like all the other ones you’ve played before, you should absolutely check out Tinykin.
An action adventure with unique visual and comfortable controls mixed with 3D and 2D. It is a game hard not to mention the resemblance with Nintendo's masterpiece 'Pikmin' series. Although the game has built an attractive gameplay using Tinykin, It is a bit of shame that there is no combat content that utilize it, lacking the entire tension.

Tinykin is a sensational 3D platform game loaded with collectibles with a total duration of 6 or 7 hours, and an exceptional finish that makes it one of the best games of the genre to be released this year. Much like how Psychonauts 2 had quality rivalling the biggest and best AAA games of the year, Tinykin is one of the standout games of 2022. Pikmin fans will adore this game, as will fans of classic 3D platformers like Super Mario 64 or Spyro the Dragon.
Tinykin is a great 3D-platformer that wonderfully encourages exploration through it’s charm, engaging traversal, and cute creatures.
