Phantom Liberty is an absolute triumph in game design and one of the best pieces of DLC ever made. It’s that rare release that not only goes further than the base game but improves the overall experience with supporting updates. With a fantastic, unforgettable cast of characters, superb writing, tons of action, and wonderfully creative missions, if you’ve been waiting to play Cyberpunk 2077, this is the incentive you need to jack in. The content can be a bit too action-heavy with danger around every corner and there’s some time delays between missions which get a bit frustrating, but none of this is enough to deter you from Dogtown.
Phantom Liberty is CD Projekt RED's big apology to everyone, but it's also the imposition of an evil stubbornness that runs through the company and, more importantly, its developers. The expansion is one of the best experiences you'll have this year, even if you didn't like the original game. It's a chant that can be heard from Poland from all corners of the gaming planet. Now is the right and proper time to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077. And keep your eyes on Songbird! Protect it at all costs!

From its breathless opening hours to its twisting narrative, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty would be worth the price of admission for its plot and characters alone. That it also offers an impressive new district, open-world dynamic events and even more ways to build your own Cyberpunk mythos make it an even easier recommendation.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is a real success. CD Projekt RED has successfully diversified the experience, forcing you to play in different ways. There are many new additions, both to the new district and to the existing ones. The new characters are charismatic and have real depth. The story is also very gripping, and some of the choices will be very difficult to make. When I think of successful DLC, Phantom Liberty will be one of the titles I'll recommend without hesitation.

Without a doubt, Phantom Liberty is Cyberpunk 2077 as it was always meant to be. CD Projekt Red rolled with the punches and produced one of the best games ever produced by them.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty doesn’t merely tell a story; it immerses you in a complex web of choices and consequences, making you an active participant in its unfolding drama. It’s a fine last hurrah for a game that has taken CD Projekt so long to hone, and it stands as one of the best individual stories the developer has told to date.
Phantom Liberty is a strong expansion to the base game, and a reminder that, despite the rough start, the Cyberpunk 2077 universe is one I'd love to see further expanded in the future.
Phantom Liberty is an excellent DLC packed full of solid content from start to finish, and everyone who has enjoyed the original should play it. It's just a shame that the game can't fully shake the specter of technical issues.

It was a long road for CD Projekt RED from the botched launch of Cyberpunk 2077 to the game it has become with Phantom Liberty – and although the road was bumpy, the light at the end of the tunnel was real after all. The only expansion this game will receive has a fantastic storyline, plenty of feels, entertainment, joy, and technical bells and whistles.
Cyberpunk 2077 reaches its peak with the addition of a spy-thriller that brilliantly closes an important era for CD Projekt.

After many years of fixing, it's great to see the trials of V and his/her adventure in Night City -seediness & all- now in its final Super Saiyan God form. The Phantom Liberty expansion is a helluva adventure as well featuring the best talent for its narrative, lovely structure and levels, and all-around captivating spy motif and cloak-and-dagger who-can-we-trust package.
Phantom Liberty is a brilliant addition to the world of Cyberpunk 2077, with the intriguing narrative and exciting missions playing to the game’s strengths perfectly. Add to that the fact that the recently released 2.0 update has brought an impressive evolution to the core gameplay experience and it’ll be easy to see that Cyberpunk 2077 is better than ever right now. It has been a bit of a bumpy ride, but Phantom Liberty is the perfect way to cap off what has been one of the best comeback stories in the world of gaming.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is undeniably a must-have. There's so much extra there with this absolutely worthwhile DLC. Simply put, different characters, various places, and different kinds of adventures. It's like the main game's endings but with greater variety. The time investment is well justified by the increased level cap, the additional cyberware, and the interesting new story.
Phantom Liberty's awkward placement in the Cyberpunk 2077 storyline and a bland major character coupled with a jumbled-up story prevent it from becoming an amazing spy thriller.
Phantom Liberty and update 2.0 absolutely makes Cyberpunk 2077 a lot closer to what its original vision had promised.
Phantom Liberty pushes Cyberpunk 2077 to a complete experience. It is a phenomenal story that appealed to me more than what the base version of the game offered. A new map section, a graphical upgrade, an improvement in gameplay systems. There is no better time to check out this game than now.

Phantom Liberty is a great addition to Cyberpunk 2077, giving us a great new story, a new perk tree, and a new district to explore. While still not perfect, this expansion and the massive 2.0 patch make this a game well worth playing (or re-playing).
While it leans heavily on spy genre tropes, and appears to be determined to separate itself from the wilder, futuristic ideas of its base game counterpart by focussing on more familiar, socially relevant political themes, Phantom Liberty is a compelling, cinematic story that expands the world of Cyberpunk 2077.
