Lies of P has managed to provide the proper Souls-like experience, in a mysterious world full of danger, and a hard-but-fun gameplay with much variety. It might not be the perfect Souls-like game, but it is indeed a great one.

Lies of P combines elements of Soulsborne games, adds some ideas of its own and puts it all into a beautifully set version of a dark world, inspired by one of the best-known stories in classic literature. Some of its combat mechanics may take a little longer to get used to, but that doesn't take away from Lies of P's merits in being one of the best Soulslikes released recently.

I genuinely had a fun time through the ups and downs of my experience, and I could say that Lies of P has the potential of becoming one of the names that would immediately be brought up when talking about soulslikes.
Lies of P is a very good Soulslike that doesn't quite reach greatness due to its lack of variety and needless limitations. That aside; what's here is still undeniably rewarding and entertaining so fans of the genre will enjoy what it has to offer.
Lies of P is as slick and well-done as it is dark and mysterious. With weighty combat, cool weapons and tools, and some exquisite - though very creepy - enemy design, it’ll scratch the ‘souls’ itch for many, despite a few blemishes.
Lies of P stands out in the soulslike genre with its intriguing reinterpretation of the Pinocchio story. Despite some balance and difficulty issues, the game delivers an engaging experience through solid world-building, a stimulating combat system, and impressive customization options.

In the horrifying city of Krat, the puppets that were once at the service of humanity have transformed into killing machines, while a mysterious evil transforms people, devastates and kills. Puppet P is special, as he has the ability to lie: what growth path will he face? What mysteries do the intelligent Geppetto, the enterprising Venigni, the mysterious Sophia and the other citizens of Krat hide? In this reinterpretation of Collodi's classic, the mechanics of souls like are taken up with great effectiveness, while the more original elements remain in the background, not entirely successful. Lies of P remains a very solid action in terms of technical aspects and artistic creation, a "must have" for lovers of the genre.

Even if you're not a die-hard Souls-like fan, Lies of P has something to offer. It boasts content that's distinct from the game and, in my opinion, ranks among the best Souls-like titles to date. It can even hold its own against the mainline FromSoftware titles. So, if you're prepared to navigate the city of Krat with a web of lies and refine your abilities to confront the twisted, plague-infested remnants of the world
In Lies of P, South Korean studio Neowiz Games managed to nail both the formula and the feeling of the From Software’s classic, creating one of the best Soulsbornes in recent history. Not only did they succeed in cloning the core of the Bloodborne experience, but they poured their own magic into the mold and cast something unique.
There's enough meat on Pinocchio's metaphorical bones to keep fans of the genre hooked on "Lies of P" for a few dozen hours at least.
Lies of P is the best soulslike I've tried. Its world is intriguing and layered, its combat challenging and satisfying, and its story captures and moves you.

Lies of P exceeded all my expectations and has instantly become one of my top games of the year. The story and lore drew me in, but it was the superb combat and eye-popping bosses that really cinched it for me. The lush gothic visuals and wonderful soundtrack merely seal the deal.
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and when it comes to Lies of P, this game pays homage to Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls beautifully. It’s not going to win any contests for originality, but the original content here is certainly worth of remembrance. The puppet aesthetic is excellent, the story engaging, and the sheer amount of customization, alongside some memorable boss fights, makes this one of the best Souls-like games outside FromSoft’s catalogue.
With a new take on the iconic character: "Pinocchio" and with creative takes on the souls genre, Lies of P looks like the closest we could get to having Bloodborne on PC that we are eagirly awaiting for hopefully (some day..)

For those willing to overlook its shortcomings, the game provides a unique, albeit flawed, experience that adds a new chapter to the ever-expanding Souls-like genre.
Lies of P is a soulslike that distinguishes itself mainly with its story and accessibility. The environments look beautiful and the well-known story of Pinocchio makes Krat and his surroundings feel like a fun city trip. Make no mistake, Lies of P may be a bit more accessible, but it punishes you mercilessly if you are greedy during the fights. A pleasant addition to the soulslike genre.
